I finally got around to listening to Dead to Me and I can't help but think "Gee, the new One Man Army record really sucks." I also noticed that Dead to Me came out and was automatically more popular than One Man Army and I can't figure out why? Please asplain.

I kind of wish all their fans would bombard them with E mails, and phone calls, begging for a tour and more new material. The last tour they did was 08 with Teenage Rehab for a west coast tour, and that was all they wanted to do. They kind of like hiding behind a wall of obscurity. As far as I know, it is essentially James now, although a few of the older members have stepped in here and there. I would love to see a Crux/Lincolns tour. And I was fine scoring that record for $4.99! I can't believe that I scored that at that price. I've been hutning that record for years.

This is true, I am a Ben Weasel apologist, and have been for a very long time. That said, it's because I get the joke and think his act is hilarious. I also love almost everything that he's ever written but those two things are mutually exclusive. If I thought he was a dick, I'd still love his records.

I actually know what's going on (I'm not going to to tell you so save yourself the time to ask-no PM's either) and it's REALLY petty. You're correct it has nothing to do with how nice he is, the the truth is he's the most honest, stand up guy out there today. I don't mean to imply that he's not, I just don't understand why so often people care about the personalities of people they'll never meet and let that affect how they view something like their music. That seems to be more prevelant since message boards and the internets blew up as a source of information and rumor mongering.
