I was pretty surprised to find an album with a $30 price tag didn't come with a download code...
any chance anyone is sitting on an extra download they'd be willing to share with me? -
this hit the doorstep yesterday. One time through and... wow, quite the departure from what I expected (not a bad thing)
didn't have a download card in my copy - anyone else that grabbed this, did you get one?

Super stoked. Been waiting 3 years for this. Bought into their Kickstarter when it first launched in 2016. Seen them live twice since then.
I really hope we get a different variant for getting in ground zero and waiting so long.
That's rad! I didn't get to see them back in the day - they've yet to play in the area on this 'reunion' hoping that changes if they tour on this album!

Not sure if anyone around these parts are/were into that dog from the early/mid 90's but they've gotten back together and recorded a new album.
originally, only available for pre-order via digital platforms, they announced this morning a vinyl pre-order on amazon (seems to be the only place to pre-order)

Resurrecting an old thread as this seemed the best place to park this info -

Anyone have Jenny Lewis - On the Line that they can Dropbox me? It's really lame when they don't include a simple download code when you buy the record. Still have not figured out a way to play records in my car. Please message me if you can help. Thanks!
If someone is generous and passes it on, I'm looking for a digital version, as well. my wife was baffled that there was no download card until the Spotify ad for 'Listen to the new Jenny Lewis' showed up in her social media feeds... doesn't seem that hard to be set up for digital downloads with a release... but I have heard the return on the cards isn't as much as one would expect... so maybe it is wasted money... I miss the days of a CD being included with the record - a copy for the car, a copy for the house... it was a nice set-up!

for anyone that missed it, they posted on their socials that the Black US Version is etched b-side /1000

Saw them at one of the No Division shows last week and it was awesome, even without Chris Wollard but I just can't get behind the last couple albums. Will have to wait and see on this.
saw somewhere this morning (likely Chuck Ragan's Instagram) that Wollard is on the new EP along with some other guests

I will say that the app does help some, but moreso if there aren't a ton of variants and pressings. For stuff with a ton of pressings I found it a lot easier to just catalog it the usual way. Still need to get the rest of mine on there, probably have 80% or so of it done.
100% agree - I have some No Idea releases that I had to straight-up guess at which pressing it was. y'know 'raspberry grey mud' isn't always listed. (not picking on them, but they always seem to be one of the harder to decipher for me)

Fuck this makes me want to catalog my record collection. I have a fairly large collection with a ton of valuables and I’d hate for it to go to shit in a fire. I’m so lazy I barely got around to alphabetizing the collection though... then again that might make this whole process easier.
I was intimidated when I finally decided to catalog the collection, but the barcode scanner in the discogs app expedited the process. It wasn't perfect, but it definitely helped

Anybody been to a show recently and know if the tour version is still available?
Can confirm they had them at the show on April 03.
although now that I'm typing this, I realize that might not be of useful info to you.

Can you imagine if Fat threw in some colored copies with the standards for distro!
I scored a White pressing of Swingin' Utters: Five Lessons Learned at my local shop when it came out years ago. At the time I was in the dark on variants and thought it was cool that it wasn't black. I didn't know until years later that there was more than one version of that release

Is it confirmed that all of these are remastered or remixed?
I can confirm that Caution is a remix/remastered release.
Not sure about the others

mine showed up yesterday - haven't had a chance to listen to the album yet, but it's a super rad looking black vinyl with yellow and red splatter.

Clearly, I'm in the minority here, but I didn't think it was *that* bad the one time I've been able to sit and listen to it...
I want to give it a fair shot and my daily commute seems like the best place, currently.
