just got shipping confirmation on my october preorder of afghan whigs gentlemen (regular, not rsd 3LP). backordered twilight singers single got canceled. and last week they came though on october preorders of drive-by truckers black ice verite and ministry mind is a terrible thing to taste (wasn't expecting the metallic gold #'d/1500, but that's what arrived). anybody have any luck with metallica's justice or black albums?

just got shipping confirmation on what had been a backordered kicking television. kinda good, because i'd been holding out for that sub $50 price tag since it was released. kinda terrible, because now i'm going back for a metric shit ton of backordered stuff that i didn't bother with the first 3 times.

anyone who got 21, did the 7" ship separately, or is it packaged inside the 12", or is mine just absent?

if they fail to remove a record or list it as sold out, will they keep giving the $5 freebie on the same unfulfilled backorder if you order it repeatedly?

took 2 chats and 2 calls this time, but again i just got more than i was expecting. i made two buy 2 get 1 free orders. in both cases, 1 record was backordered and i received full credit (rather than the 2/3 i was expecting) upon cancelling the item. basically, it became a b1g1 sale. so i ended up getting ok computer, closing time, siamese dream and yankee hotel foxtrot all shipped, including tax, for under $52 total.

thanks. and yeah, i've got the collector gene and a complete lack of willpower, so i'll do my best to enjoy it before the inevitable bankruptcy. thanks. and your name has me listening to bone machine already.

cool. i've also got the opposite thing going with them on another order. the 2 paid records arrived, the freebie (nevermind) is still backordered, but they haven't emailed me asking to cancel or extend yet. good to know they won't be a hassle. thanks.

ordered disintegration, closing time (free), yankee hotel foxtrot during the promo, each 23.74. received closing time and yhf. disintegration was backordered, so i checked with service and they verified i could cancel it, still get free shipping, and still get closing time for free. is this normal or did i confuse them into saying yes?

my replacement white has traces of something darker, either black or purple. looks accidental, not marbled or splattered. is this common with whites? i'm not gonna whine to sub pop, just curious. i'm a noob.
