ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. I don't wanna say. I got it from my parents a few months ago to start off my vinyl collection but after visiting this forum I see it wasn't a good choice for a first player. Crosley. lmfao. Weird that it would only turn off certain records though :/ But yeah, since I've been a VC member, I've realized I need to get a different set up.

Wondering if someone can help me out... I have two 7'' records that play perfectly fine until they both stop about 15-30 seconds before the end of the song. The record player just stops spinning. On one record, both sides do this. On the other, only one side does it. I have other records that play fine so I know it's not my player... Does anyone know what could be wrong?

I had to plunge the depths of the internet a few months ago for the demo. The "acoustic" (piano version) was released on The Militia Group release of Chroma but was replaced with the full band version which is on iTunes once Epic re-released the album the following year. LINKS REMOVED btw - are we allowed to post links like these? I'm looking for a Rules thread but cannot find one so I'm just gunna go ahead and post until someone says otherwise.

The Hot Topic in Orange Park, FL has TWO whole (half-filled) crates dedicated to Vinyl. You could add Cartel - Chroma to the list. EnjoyTheRide said it should be in HT stores within the next week and a half.

I personally don't think Ross went about this the wrong way at all. The band was paid 10 years ago to create an album that Epic then bought the rights to. They had plenty of chances to get in on this release or put a halt to it. They did neither. It's not his fault they were not more communicative from the start. He did not start out this release planning to go ahead without the band's approval. Through their own fault, they were not on top of their game. He did everything right in my opinion. Cartel will still be able to release and likely sell out of their version when/if they decide to go forward with it. And I'll still likely buy that one as well. Really looking forward to receiving this in the mail soon. Thanks for the release, Ross.

From their twitter: To clarify: it's totally legal/legit to license a record without band approval but we wanted to add so much to the first pressing so don't send hate or anything to the company. Just know that we have no idea what you're buying. If you want it, grab it. BUT just know that we are planning a release to coordinate with the 10th anniversary and it will be EPIC (pun both intended and not intended). Speaking of @EnjoytherideRES....think we could get personal copies of this...ya know - for the effort?

There's really nothing wrong with wanting a refund. It's not the same as saying this is a bad product. As a music lover, I'm sure Thomas wants to respect the Band's wishes on how their album is released. It's not about Ross' label at all...

Thomas said nothing "unprofessional." Asking for a refund on an item that's not exactly official when you thought it was isn't unprofessional, nor is talking about it.
