I'm a professional photographer. I work for Amazon photographing products on a white background 40 hours a week. I love my job! i started off doing school portraits and weddings and fell into e-comerce studio photography two years ago after seeing a job posting. I much prefer this work where the subject sits still and doesn't talk.

"I know this sounds awful but…" and continues on to say something awful.

skyward sword was pretty dope! they really did an awesome job with the motion controls and sword play.

is anybody else bored with titan fall already?

Ordered. I can't wait to get it so I can make a "package opening video" and put my bare fingers all over it. Mmmmm that will feel so good.

The Wyoming Valley Mall in Wilkes-Barre just got rid of their vinyl.. I went to Embassy Vinyl in Scranton today.. That place is great! Scored a Johnny Thunders 12" and a few more records.

I can never really find anything at embassy. Most of the stuff I listen to is newer and they mostly just have older used records. Gallery of sound in wilks and diskson city sometimes has some good stuff.

niiice. Bright Eyes is my favorite band. I'm so glad I was able to see them in Philly during The People's Key tour before they broke up. Lifted is the fist LP I ever got. My GF bought me the record player and a copy of lifted to go with it because it's my favorite album ever.

Pre-emptively putting yourself down won't stop dicks from being dicks.  Skip the self-deprecation and be happy with & proud of what you've put together in 2 months.  Executing a nice, clean, cohesive room design takes some skill and effort.  Having UPS ship you records and buying a nice turntable is the easy part. 

Thank you. Yeah I am pretty new to collecting. For now, I like what I've got. My girlfriend and I put this area together after she bought me the record player for my birthday at the end of march. For now, I think this record player was a very nice gift and is a good one to start with while we listen to music in our living room over dinner or morning coffee. 

i know i know, it's a crosly... I'm pretty new to record collecting (two months). It sounds/look good so im happy with my set up for now

Is it just me or does Enema have gnarly inner groove distortion / static? I can't remember if I read it earlier in this thread or not.

I didn't notice any distortion on my copy.

hmm I ordered 5 days ago and it's still "processing." I hope it doesn't take too long. My girlfriends birthday is June 8th so I hope I don't have to give her some belated gifts.

My local HT in the Steamtown Mall doesn't stock vinyl so I can't run and pick up a copy…. they get the disney picture discs though. thank gawd for that.

Has there been any news or an ETA on TOYPAJ I may have missed? i've only seen a "working on it" post.

I pre-ordered mine in white/pink starburst. I'm sure it will look great! I live in the area where this band is from so I've gotten to see them quite a few times over the years. I'm really excited about this release. The album is amazing!

If it had been weeks with out hearing anything then maybe, but 3 days is a pretty short time to start emailing about a record. HT ships out a whole lot of other stuff so things can sometimes take a week.

I understand but from previous experiences I had recieved more information via email from this company. HT's tracking said "Shipped" so I sent a simple email stating that I had not received a conformation email with a tracking number like i have in the past. They then replied with a tracking number. I am in no way saying "this is taking too long" I am just trying to inform people of my experience for those interested in the shipping process.

I was simply trying to add some input on the topic that this tread is about by explaining my experience. I had read posts many pages ago about people not reciving shipping confirmation and felt it relvent.

I ordered my copy at 6am Eastern Time on tuesday morning and never got a shipping confirmation. I have since e-mailed HT customer service asking for order status and they sent me a Fedex tracking number which informed me that it would be in store for pickup today.  I'm not sure if anybody else had any concerns about not recieving a shipping confirmation like I was but apparently it is on course to me without the e-mail being sent.

Maybe we could just take all the cat gifs and make a new thread on the Everything Else part of the board and stop cluttering up this thread with it all? Eh?

Also, dashboard confessional - the places you have come to fear the most. WHY HAS THIS NEVER BEEN PRESSED?!
