The FYE exclusive blue opaque vinyl is back in stock, limited to 1500. Unfortunately they don't ship to the UK.
Yeah...and gone again. For those who have the vinyl, how's the pressing, and overall quality?

Ok here goes @skycriesmary apologies for the lighting/lack of photography skills on display.
Elizabeth Colour Wheel - Nocebo (Red Blob in clear with screen printed dustcover)
All Your Sisters - Trust Ruins (Red with black splatter and art booklet/zine)
Vale - Burden Of Sight (Clear with Silver & Black Splatter)
Drowse - Light Mirror (Clear & Silver half and half with production diary zine/booklet)
As far as sound quality goes I'm probably not the most qualified to weigh in, my set-up is mid-tier and I've never been an audiophile. That said all of them play well, I don't think I've ever got a record that sounded shitty or off from this label.
Thanks for putting it all together! Hmm, I'm going to have to noodle on this.

I'm seriously considering a subscription, mainly to get the Drowse limited. Anyone care to comment on the quality, presentation of these limited editions? Pictures? Are they the schnitzel?
-
Yep, the same. Amazon can suck the big slimy one.
-
Enough with these damn EP's. Let's have a whole album, eh? Carrie & Lowell was a masterpiece...
-
I just ordered, but almost held out to see if any make it to stores. 5,000 run is quite a few more than most of his 7".
-
Listening to Sigur Ros 'Variations of Darkness' right now (thanks Bullmoose) and thoroughly digging it. These guys don't do much wrong....
-
Yeah, I'll make it worth someones while if they want to sell me their subscription copy when it comes out.

^ those 4 copies sold out pretty much immediately. Thankfully I've had page monitor set up on that page for the last month so I was able to snag one
Is this a page monitoring app that refreshes every few seconds, and notifies you within seconds? I'm asking as there is a site I need to hit on Friday, and I don't want to be mashing F5, then get locked out of the site.
Can you let me know what you use?

The shit you find while researching for product development...
-
Eh, $41.62 for a signed double, and variant. Not too bad. Now I just hope the album is far better than Gargoyle.
-
Those whores...😂
-
If anyone doesn't want the Drowse variant, please hit me up. I'll make it worth your while.
-
Sold out after just launching the limited edition? WTF? Oh well, there will probably be multiple colored variants.
-
Prices are already coming down quite a bit on The Crow. Give it a few more days and we'll see copies sub $45.

So going off Plaid Room's stock numbers, the following should be fairly easy to grab via them or elsewhere in the coming days: The Crow, Lost In Translation, Seven Mary Three, Breaking Bad, Weezer's b-sides (and I'm imagining Teal shouldn't be too bad either). They have quite a few Body Talk left, too. I figure those secondary market prices will plummet very soon.
I have a hard time believing they still have those quantities in stock (Devo, Bill Evans, etc). Not sure how accurate the database is...

Thanks for the heads up. Hopefully the order gets filled!

their instagram post says they are sr webstore exclusive, at least the numbered editions are.
Ack. Times like this I feel bipolar. Part of me really wants this, as they're one of my favorites. The other parts says shut up fan boy, how many times are you really going to listen to that? It's just going to collect dust on your shelf until your six feet under.
-
I wonder how many of the numbered editions will be sold in outside channels, or if they'll all be sold through SR site.
-
Meh...on the fence. The single really wasn't that compelling. That being said, Marissa is great live.
-
Damn...those oak boxes look gorgeous, in addition to everything inside. $500 though...not sure I'm THAT much of a fan.

I'll have to keep an eye on this thread. Seems like some good stuff popping up.
No doubt.

When I first heard of it...I thought back to seeing The Four Horsemen live acoustic on the Reload tour...and that kind of colored my idea of the album.
Metallica's still doing loads of great stuff, but this isn't one of them for me, and I love Lulu. Still love that the band takes chances.
That I can appreciate. The vast majority of their acoustic efforts have just not translated well, unfortunately.

I checked out the youtube versions of the tunes...and I couldn't bring myself to even want to want it.
I saw their 'unplugged' edition at the Bridge Benefit year before last. It was sad, bordering on pathetic. How the mighty have fallen.

Tempted to buy one of the variants, but I have a feeling there will be a more limited release coming. I'm sure as shit not going to buy the bundle with all the hokey kitch.
