I don't think this has been posted- but, Venera 4 has their new album up for preorder through bandcamp- shoegaze/dreampop from Paris. Their first 7" and EP were both really awesome too- so makes the bundle a really good deal- https://venera4band.bandcamp.com

Took about a day or two- but mp3@shelflife got back to me with the link

PO: Lost Highway OST on Vinyl!
Waters replied to Spiderland77's topic in Vinyl Collective Message Board
HHV sells a ton of bootlegs- are you sure this isn't the same bootleg that's just popped up everywhere? -
Got this in the other day- looks and sounds great!

Got this in today- really like it- definite shoegaze vibe, a little bit JAMCish at times. Thumbs up. -
PO: Bjork Catalog (Limited Colored Pressings of 5000)
Waters replied to GazHilarant's topic in Vinyl Collective Message Board
I know this has been previously posted, but... From OLI-- In celebration of Björk’s mid-career retrospective at the Museum of Modern Art in New York, and the release of the Björk: Archives book, One Little Indian is reissuing the Björk vinyl back catalogue, and for an exclusive period the vinyl will be coloured to the hue that personifies that album character. After 5000 copies all albums will revert back to black vinyl. Available exclusively from the One Little Indian Shop here! - maybe it's time limited, but their copy sure doesn't read like it- -

This is annoying since OLI says the colored copies are exclusive to their website. -

FWIW, I emailed one little Indian about the price increase- their response - "There was an initial release sale over the first weekend for the new coloured vinyl. " -

Vespertine and Homogenic are my two favorites- good choice. I did the same as you and ordered a copy of Homogenic from amazon a few days before this was announced, haven't received it yet, but it shipped before this announcement. So... Ordered a colored one anyway. Don't think anyone really is sure on the colors- Enjoy getting into Bjork and welcome to VC. -
PO: Bjork Catalog (Limited Colored Pressings of 5000)

Well, went to go back and buy the 3 I didn't originally order, and it looks like they increased the prices on all of them, single discs to £14.99 and 2xLP to £19.99. Pretty irritating. Looks like I'll be short Volta and Biophilia, because £19.99 plus £6 shipping is tooooo much for me. Sucks. -
I'm definitely interested.

Norman records has it online for about the same price shipped, but with them you can have them take the record out of the sleeve for shipping. Might help with those splits. Half my Amazon records have seam splits, so I've given up on caring about it.

More dream pop than shoegaze- but this new Suburban Living sounds pretty good- http://papercupmusic.limitedrun.com/products/535474-pre-order-suburban-living-s-t-lp

I like this, but $30+ shipped to the U.S. is too steep for me

Thanks! Sounds pretty good- ordered. -
Agree- I think the pricing is pretty good for brick and mortar, it's not Amazon pricing- but I don't mind. It's a good shopping experience, nice staff, and good selection with a nice mix of bootlegs too.

Yeah, Waterloo is my absolute favorite, great store in a great part of town. End of an Ear is smaller, but still good. They are 5 minutes away from each other, so totally worth visiting both. Waterloo has taken a ton of my money over the years, love that place-

Cool- I knew you were mixed up in all that somehow- Kestrels is great too, definitely worth checking out
