  4. New Thurston release if anyone is interested.... Thurston Moore - Built for Lovin Limited to 500 copies " A scabrous grab bag of weirdo recordings assembled by Thurston Moore: hardcore basement slam jammer with Mark Ibold (bass) and John Moloney of Sunburned (drums), a rough demo cue made for an HSBC TV ad (w/ Steve Shelley-drums – uncredited – sorry Steve!), a few noise b-sides from various lost releases and a couple of long psycho-bead kosmi-killersz. And some subterranean acoustic luv — all wrapped up n a pic disc with art by T Moore extracted from his Street Mouth series of collages......." http://www.losttreasuresoftheunderworld.com/

  6. is up for sale at www.southernlord.com if anyone here is interested... Jesse Sykes & the Sweet Hereafter-"Like, Love, Lust and the Open Halls of the Soul" 2xLP We are very honored to be able to present the 180 gram vinyl version of this incredible album from singer-songwriter Jesse Sykes and her band: The Sweet Hereafter. Many of you may be familiar with Jesse Sykes through her beautifully haunting vocals on the sunn 0)))/Boris-Altar album track: "The Sinking Belle". On their third album: ""Like, Love, Lust and the Open Halls of the Soul" Jesse and her band continue down the path of the dark country-flavored rock they are now becoming known for. Along this path they also create songs that sound like the day breaking through the darkness not unlike classic Neil Young or even the Allman Brothers. Some of the alumni that gathered for this album such as Bill Herzog, Steve Moore, Eyvind Kang, and Randall Dunn have strong ties to sunn 0))), Earth and Southern Lord, so although it may seem a strange release amongst our catalog, it really makes perfect sense! What really matters most is the undeniable fact that Jesse Sykes & the Sweet Hereafter make incredibly beautiful, dark, intense sounds. This Southern Lord deluxe gatefold issue contains a exclusive vinyl-only bonus track: "Smiling Serene (Days To Remember)", not available anywhere else! Mailorder customers will receive the limited Pink/Peach color 180 gram vinyl of which only 300 were pressed. $17 each Pressing info: 300 Pink/Peach 180 gram 700 Black 180 gram

  11. An Occurence At Owl Creek Bridge was originally a short story, if it's what I'm thinking of. Some guy's about to be hanged, right? yes, you're right.
  12. is there an episode called an occurrence on wolf creek, or are you talking about an occurrence on owl creek bridge? That was a french short film from 1962 that a producer of the twilight zone bought the rights to air in the US for a few times. It's not in syndication.
  13. definitely. last time they played there i ended up sitting on the second level. only a few other people up there. i think jake ended up jumping in to the crowd at the end of the set..i forget the reason why.
