  1. Did you get a shipping notification dude? The copy I ordered is a gift for a friend for Christmas, so just wondering if I just need to wait and see, or if it'll be tracked shipping.
  2. Thanks! I have a friend who will go crazy for this. It's £21.99 on Amazon UK at the moment for those that are interested.
  3. Saw this in today's email from Burning Shed. The second Delerium Years Box. I know there are some Steven Wilson/Porcupine Tree fans here so thought this was worth posting: Pre-order Link
  4. You can set up a stock alert on Banquet Records. Might be worth a shot? Their website does say that they're expecting more Black Friday stock in general.
  5. Bagged a copy of Brave New World online at midnight here in the UK. It was the only thing I wanted. Banquet Records had 10 copies online at £39.99. A little pricey but works out just as much as I'd pay to import it myself when you factor in shipping and import tax. And it's a lot less than those HMV copies are going for... Hope other people get what they're after!
  6. If it's Dark Souls then I will lose my shit. I can't think of anything else now, what else could it be!?
  7. Sounds exiting dude! Any chance of a little hint in terms of what console we're talking about here? Or perhaps what "generation"?
  8. Oh man, I forgot about Paper Mario! This guy has a handful of videos where he tests N64 games on a recent version of Retropie (4.0), may be worth checking some of them out?
  9. I've run a few N64 games on my pi 3, and for the most part they run ok. There's a few settings that you can change to make things run a little better, and overclocking seems to help as well. The main thing is, Mario 64, Starfox 64, and Goldeneye work well (although Goldeneye hasn't aged well, the controls are awful). 8bitdo are even releasing a bluetooth n64 controller... http://www.8bitdo.com/n64/ Haven't got around to testing Mario Kart 64 yet.
  10. Glad you sorted the lag Batman! If you don't already know, there's a few things you can do to personalise Retropie: Themes Custom Splashscreens (still images or a video) Scraping game data (gives you things like box art, a game synopsis etc) A bit of Googling will explain how to do these, but if you need any help hit me up.
  11. You should really get a case, just really to avoid dust and it getting knocked etc. But honestly, I've had mine for a few months now and they're great. Small enough that you can pop it in a bag and take it to a friend's house etc. I've even taken mine to a hotel room and used it as I was away on my own for a night. Retropie works with PS3 controllers as well so that may save you some money if you have one sitting around.
  12. I never actually played Gunstar Heroes, so this may be the first Data Discs release that I sit out. Why can't they just do what we all want and release a Sonic box set? :-p
  13. It's just a marketing tactic, they're driving up demand by limiting how many are initially available. Nintendo have said that more will be coming. They did the same thing when the Wii launched. This guy explains it pretty well: In a nutshell though, it's because the Wii U is being killed off and they have nothing to really push over the Christmas period, so by driving up demand they will hopefully sell more units than if they just flooded the shelves with them and they sat there for 6 months.
  14. Same here, I've got a Pi Zero and a Pi 3, and both run Retropie very well. The Mini NES is nice but (licensing and emulation aside) it's just not worth paying the crazy prices people want for it. In fact, after Christmas I don't doubt you'll be able to pick it up for £20/$20 less than the retail price - they're not a limited run or anything. Of the two Pi's, I'd recommend the 3 over the Zero. Built in WiFi and Bluetooth, and even runs PS1, Dreamcast, and N64 games. I'm currently playing through Resident Evil 2 on the PS1.
  15. Definitely in for this, an absolute classic and the soundtrack was brilliant .
  16. Urgh how did I miss this!? Well that's annoying. Discogs has them at £98, no thanks! Hopefully I can pick up one this time around then. Thanks for the info guys.
  17. Maiden, Brave New World!? I'm in! Edit: I'm gonna say this now, if Brave New World is US only, I'd be grateful if someone could help me get a copy! Hopefully it'll be released in the UK as well.
  18. You've persuaded me! Pulled the trigger. I know I'll regret it later if I don't. Thank you! Went for Final Symphony as I was never into the games from the Symphonic Fantasies release.
  19. Wow that is tempting! Do we know potential pressing numbers?
  20. Got my copy through, it sounds great! No download though, which is a shame. At least Spotify has it now though.
  21. My black copy is out for delivery today! At long last! Anyone know if it comes with a download code?
  22. About to sit down and give this album a listen through, pretty excited! This last month has been absolutely awful, for various reasons, so I'm hoping this will be something positive! Those that have heard it already, how does it compare to other albums?
