I think that's just how Mondo are to be honest (though someone feel free to correct me), they announce certain stuff well ahead of release. I remember when there was talk of TLOU, I swear that wasn't released for like 8 months or something.

Managed to pick up a John Baizley Four Horsemen print today. So chuffed! And on Cliff's 30th anniversary as well... Listened to the new song about a dozen times. So much better than the other one. Really hope the rest of the album is just as good, but the last two albums just didn't do it for me so I'm skeptical still.

Definitely much better than the other track, wasn't a big fan of that. Looking forward to seeing what the rest of the album is like now.

Yeah it made me laugh as well. It's just PR spin isn't it, they know if they don't address people's concerns of being left behind or buying games that don't work on both systems, there will be a lot of bad press and too many questions. If Sony had turned around today and said "that's right, PS1, PS2, PS3, and all PS4 games are compatible going forward" people would lose their shit. Every generation on one console with continuous support for the future. If only...

I agree entirely, the Pro doesn't seem worth the upgrade for current owners. I'd only pick one up if my PS4 died, otherwise I'm not gonna go out of my way to upgrade. I do feel that the two consoles are a very lazy design. I get that they want them to look uniform but they're so unbelievably dull. Also, i guess this wasn't the event for it, but no backwards compatibility for PS1 and 3 games yet? If PS2 can be done then surely 1 can....

Man, as much I want one of those variants, I think I'm gonna stick with the black I have pre-ordered at Amazon; £18 delivered. It would be another £12 for the white or orange. Looks like the white is limited to 600 copies for anyone that's interested. Doesn't say how many orange.

One word: Overcooked. It can be the most infuriating and yet somehow the most fun co-operative game I think I've ever played. Honestly it's heaps of fun, up to 4-player (local). Its not that big of a game but the Vs mode is a lot of fun. Look into it, I know it's not a shooter etc but it's worth it. Only other suggestion I can think of is something like Rare Replay. Local multilayer is a thing of the past unfortunately :-(
