I've not heard the term Dream Pop until I heard twin limb, an act just recently formed out of Louisville,KY. A friend of mine plays accordion and sings lead in this band, while another girl plays drums. This is how they started, but went to record with a dude who runs La La Land Studios (just recently did Murder By Deaths new album) and that guy had to be their guitarist. They are doing some interesting stuff with sounds. The accordion fills up the room very well and her voice my goodness angels above. They have an album coming out this year, I can't wait. Nice video! I'll give this song thought. I went to a lot of "at the hands of machines" (who is now the contortionist) shows when I was younger , they've come a long way. I can't imagine what they must feel like touring with a band they probably used to and still do worship.

hahaha, that's probably what they want you to do. I really dig the lyrics in this record. "In Absentia" is one i'm really looking forward to hearing on vinyl. The title track is pretty decent too, really the Track I like least is the single..but I thought the video contest they did for it was pretty unique.

They were saying the trebel is way too high. Idk, I'll probably be super happy just to have it. The seller told me he "priced to sell" it, and I did buy it like 10 minutes after he posted it. 25 would have been nice, but 40 (including shipping) isn't too much torture for my wallet. No record stores in my town carry volta, minus one who has a used copy of tremulant EP 12" for 30 bucks. 10 bucks a song though? No thanks. edit: oh , I had meant to say gatefold ,not 2LP.

Just ordered this off discogs for 40, which is more than I wanted to pay but every other posting has it much higher. The reviews say omar's label produced it and it sounds like garbage? Can anyone confirm if the audio quality is worse? I'm hoping Kannibal is right. Sucks it's not a 2LP :/ . not their best record but it really grew on me fast. I think one day people will really be wanting this one. I have the MOV represses of deloused and amputecture and the artwork is amazing..sound doesn't seem to be bad at all either. I can see Omars company cutting corners to save some money though.

Its taken my deja 5 days to travel 15 miles. It must be being delivered via crawling baby. sigh, and I pre-ordered this like 2 minutes after they started.

I replied to my confirmation order from triple crown asking what was up with no tracking updates after being shipped on the first, and they replied: "Thank you for your order, which has been packed and shipped. Please expect to see tracking movement by tonight at 6 PM EST. We sent out quite a few hundred of these records, so the tracking has been slow to update for some people."

I literally just bought Violent Waves yesterday from a friend who had pre-ordered it but didn't like it at all. I like it, but I really just got it to help complete the collection (just need BSN). After hearing the news about the pre-order, I'll probably do it, but I've strayed away from bands on sumerian the past like 6 years. I wonder if I'll have the same feelings as my friend if i pre-order this and find myself not so into circa anymore. I dig the little snippet we got today of Descensus!
