agreed, I just now noticed the "colors may vary" disclaimer in the mock ups. The one I picked was my favorite and now I honestly almost prefer the solid purple that was the cheapest over this one. hopefully it sounds amazing.

sweeeeet, I feel so good about saving nearly $30 on this album. I went with the navy blue/white marble. the yellow splatter looks too much like descensus (which i also got from merchnow). thank you ! this was seriously a steal, I'd order two if I was into that kind of thing.

Probably my favorite metal core album of mid 2000's, I fucking dig the drum sound on this album so much..but yeah I can't pay $20 for shipping. Cool variants though. I hope I get a chance to snag this off MerchNow or something.

I got a reply this morning when I had to e-mail them to change shipping address. It said: "Shipping very very soon." why two very's ?? tomorrows a holiday, so tuesday? Edit: just replied to change my address again (!!!) and they said (really quickly i may add, the other e-mails took 5 days to reply, this guy took less than 5 minutes.) "They are still a pre order. We have a lot to do before we have time to ship these unfortunately." which makes me think they are trying to sell out before they ship.

I tried contacting sargent house, who is literally the only contact info I can find for Rodriguez Lopez Productions. All they really had to say was "We don't work with the mars volta anymore". The Comatorium (TMV forum) told me I was a millionaire, hahaha. My roomies gotten re-tweeted in the past by cedric for making TMV christmas tree ornaments, we're trying to get his attention again. I still gave the seller a 5 star ranking, and told him about the weirdness of it and didn't get any reply. I wonder if someone out there has a grey C/D record? yeah, I just listened to it all. I think it sounded good for the most part. Kind of had some gain..but I also believe my set up can attribute to that. I don't think it's a bootleg either. I'm stumped.

Just got my copy in! It looks great, haven't got to listen to it. I also got my copy of octahedron on the same day and while I know this isn't the octahedron thread ,I didn't want to give it a bump from 6 years ago. I was surprised to see my octahedron was one disc white and one disc grey ..?. kind of strange considering it was unopened. in all the pictures i've seen, it's two white LP's. Idk, i'll post a picture. and Noctourniquet to stay true to the threat, can't wait to give this a listen later tonight. I thought the glasses would be a gimmick but you have to have them to read the lyrics really.

Hi, I'm feeling it's time to replace my cartridge and/or needle. Have never had to deal with this before. I know how a needle can break/become deteriorated just by playing records but how does a cartridge break? anyway , my turntable is a kenwood KD491 F. The needle that is on it now is an audiotechnica styleicode N 509 (It looks like it here http://www.styli.co.nz/stylus-509.html ) but the replacement cartridge is listed as a V-67BL (http://www.lpgear.com/product/KDS67BLE.html ) these look very different...any suggestions of what to do? I have no idea if they will fit. One is nearly twice as much as the other, not that price is an issue for something as serious as being able to play my records.

I once thought I was getting a good deal by picking up Modest Mouse "good news..." for like $18 bucks on VIP sale at a local shop. I was actually really happy with that price, then I walked by Urban literally a block away and saw they had a ton of records. I found good news for 14 bucks. Immediately returned the copy I just bought. That was like the only good price on any record I saw in there though.
