Well, I decided to email a couple UK record shops at random last night asking if they have any copies of this available.  To my surprise, Spillers responded and told me they have them in stock and sent me a link to purchase.  My order was packaged and shipped same day according to the fella I was speaking with and it shows shipped on my order history.  It stills shows in stock if anyone is still looking for a copy.  It was about $39 USD shipped which is still less than half of what they seem to be going for on discogs.  Here's the link to buy....

Thank you! I placed an order. Hope it works out.

There is a limited amount of 1 month subscriptions available. It was never an issue before because they never sold out of them but the last two months have had increased demand so the cap finally happened. You just unfortunately missed the window when 1 month subs were available for May.

Also, if you buy the record on Discogs for $80, you paid $80 for 1 record.

If you buy the 3 month sub and sell the other 2 for $15 each, you'd have paid $50 for 1 record.

What is this "math" you speak of?

Yea, I pretty much only order from Bullmoose and never called them an evil giant. However, I do think that any store regardless of size or "evilness" should look into guaranteed allocation before putting things online.

If a distributor changes their allotment after a retail store takes orders, how can a retailer guarantee their allotment?

When I see something arrive in one of those thin cardboard (or more accurately thick paper) mailers always get a little nervous. It's a miricle when things aren't damaged if those are used. And they seem the exclusive domain of UK shops; I used to sometimes get one from Europe but it seems all of those places have upgraded to sturdier cardboard.

Just had an Amazon LP purchase shipped to me in one of those. To no one's surprise, I pulled the LP out of its sleeve and one quadrant of the album had been bent such that the edge of the record was about 2 inches higher than the hole. The seller gave me a full refund, but why ship an LP in a nonrigid mailer? Just asking for problems.

For anyone that ordered from Bleep there should be no worries.

" Yes, we can see that you have successfully completed an order and therefore reserved a copy for the opaque blue vinyl limited edition version of Radiohead's OK COMPUTER OKNOTOK. "

FWIW, I received that same confirmation from recordstore.co.uk.

    • Received a confirmation email two days ago from recordstore.co.uk that my blue vinyl order was confirmed! YES!!
    • Received another email today from a recordstore.co.uk employee that yes, my order is for blue vinyl and has been confirmed! YES!!!
    • 29 minutes later, I received an email from recordstore.co.uk to say that they cannot fulfill my order because of excess demand. FUCK!!!!

Thanks for sharing the joesalbums.com site. Scored something here I'd been wanting, but wasn't willing to pay twice its price.
