Crazy price, but it was already gone (of course). They also had the Super Furry LP for between $19 & $20, including shipping. Way lower than I've seen elsewhere.

Thank you! I just grabbed a few things from here. Seemed sketchy the ordering system but I hope they go through..
Got White Zombie, The doors, Distillers, and the hard to find The Meters album!Fuck, yes! Scored The Meters. Jenky shopping cart system be damned.

I grabbed the SDRE Rising Tide...
2xLP on clear in polyvinyl lined sleeves.
Sounds incredible on my Rega.
A+ reissue.
Totally agree. Listened to it yesterday for the first time, and I was astounded at how great it sounds. Wish all new vinyl sounded this clean. And then the album, of course, is fucking genius.

A bunch of RSD stuff from Redscroll on Discogs as very reasonable prices:
Awesome! Grabbed four more things I shouldn't spend money on!

Don't believe it was sold anywhere in the states. So you'll have to get them off of discogs/ebay or from sellers on european amazon sites. Or wait till next week when UK sites put their leftover stock online. I got both of mine on Ebay for around $105 shipped. You can get them for around retail prices + shipping at those locations.
Thanks for that reply. Didn't realize they weren't sold in the US. Sad trombone.

Anyone seen either/both of the Cocteau Twins albums?

Why discourage? It is a label/licensing thing, like REM?

Yep Bull City had free burgers and Ponysaurus!
As they do every year, Easy Street Records in Seattle had free (good) coffee and thick-cut bacon. They walk back through the line with both and wait patiently for people to grab some bacon and pour some coffee. Makes supporting them pretty much a no-brainer.

Fatbeats has some things up, like the spacemen 3 lps and goat single- czarface and slick Rick are gone though.
Torn about the S3 LPs. The band itself has encouraged people to not purchase these, but...gah.

Anyone after Sunny Day Real Estate or Sublime is gonna be stooooooked!
Listening to the SDRE right now. Sounds great! And this album is way better than I remembered it being.

The PAUL2050 code may work as I think someone said that there is no minimum purchase.
I still have the Cocteau Twins I bought for the board. There is interest, but no-one has 100% confirmed they are taking them.
Thank you for helping a brother out! Scored that on ccmusic.com.
How much are you asking for the Cocteau Twins?
-
Looking for Cocteau Twins, Meters, and Sugar. Help a brother out.
-
Looking for a copy of the Meters release.

Please post links to sites in this thread after the stores have made their RSD 2017 leftovers available online. Thanks!

I've ordered RSD items online from 1234G the last three years, and they do a great job for such a small operation. You'll be forced to take my money again this year, I'm afraid.

Paper+Plastick Records: 42% off for 24 Hours today only. CODE: BLOODSHOTEYES
Does "for 24 Hours today only" refer to Record Store Day itself? Or does that in fact refer to 4/20?

Anyone have an active Kings Road Merch promo code? All the ones I've found are years old.

If you want to know what it was like to be a college DJ in the 80s, it sounded a lot like this. My college radio station played a ton of bands that had this kind of sound, production, and aesthetic. Prefab Sprout, ABC, Echo and the Bunnymen, and so on.

thesoundofvinyl.com wants to charge me $112.85 to ship 5 LPs to the US. Thinking that $10-off coupon isn't going to make much of a difference.
