  2. I'd but that shorebirds 7", but it's a bit too much for me right now considering I have a deal pending.
  3. I didn't know either record came with download codes until I ended up buying the LP after I already bought the CD.
  4. No matter how bad a new Ghostbusters film could be I'll still end up watching it. Probably a couple times at that.
  5. Don't get it on your elbow. I was considering it, but I'm positive it would end up looking ditorted and weird and that is not what I want it to come out looking like.

  12. Some reviewers actually do just that. I'm sure some do, but this person didn't. It doesn't bother me that this person said bands I like have stupid names, because some of them are pretty terrible. I just don't see why these bands are singled out when, in my opinion, they aren't even the worst band names on the list. It just seems like the reviewer won't even give more than half of these bands a chance or even any respect purely because they aren't what Pitchfork readers usually listen to. I understand that Pitchfork appeals to a specific group of people and that's fine, I think it's great that people can go there and find new music and learn about what matters to them. What I have a problem with is that it is incredibly poor journalism. This is not a review of the event, this is merely an announcement of the line-up. One of the key rules of journalism is to remove your opinions from the piece unless you are writing an editorial or review, neither of which this piece was. I personally enjoy seeing people's opinions on certain artists and events, but when it is necassary, not just because you can.
  13. You don't have to listen to bands to see that their band names are bad. The ones they quoted are all pretty awful, except for Bomb the Music Industry! -- that's a solid band name IMO. I agre with you there. But I find it a bit odd that the bands they recommended have some pretty awful band names, but they didn't seem to point that out.
  14. I hate pitchfork so much. I love how they went on to pretty much rip on bands for having "bad band names" but I guess have never actually listened to them. I always see this website as more like a pretentious college kid's blog instead of a legitimate music site.
  15. + Less than two hours left at work. + Recording back-up vocals for my friend's record tonight. - I cannot stand my co-workers.
  16. Am I the only one that sees them as backwards robes? I mean come on.
