I bought one of them from him last weekend and it looked like he still had about 6-8 copies. Gared gave me a hug, too. No charge. I wish my 7" came with a hug.

You got some good stuff, but it's a little too pricey for me.

Maybe if you asked to be put on the guest list and offered them something, maybe even some cash, it might be a bit more acceptable. Personally, I would never do it. I would just wait and catch them on their next time through.
