  1. Hey all. I have decided to part ways with my entire collection. I've already sold a large chunk of my collection on r/VinylCollectors, but still have a ton up for grabs. For those interested, I have all my available records for sale on my Discogs. The link is here: https://www.discogs.com/seller/mychemicalrecords/profile

All records with come with a clear plastic outer sleeve and anti-static rice paper inner sleeves. Shipping from Southern California. Please add $5 to your order for Media Mail shipping. I am also willing to ship to Canadian buyers if extra shipping expenses are covered by the buyer. All records will be shipped inside a cardboard record mailer with padding. Feel free to pm with any questions.

It's on discogs for 25 right now, but it'll probably be gone by the time you get on it. I'd just keep refreshing discogs for a few hours

    EDIT: gone

I think I was the one who grabbed that one! I've been refreshing Discogs for the past 15 minutes. I'm sure more copies will pop up on there for similar pricing throughout the day.

  3. I had this exact thing happen to me last year after selling at item to a new user on eBay. They filed an “unauthorized transaction” with their bank like a month and a half after it was delivered and the funds for the transaction got withheld in my PayPal account. I responded to the dispute with all the info I had and called PayPal the next day, to which they said as long as you can provide proof of delivery to the buyer’s address on file (via a tracking number) then you’re covered by PayPal’s seller protection. They were able to release the funds back to me immediately and that was the last of that dispute on my end at least. I’m sure the buyer’s bank refunded them in the end but I wasn’t out any funds. Make sure you block the buyer from future purchases if you haven’t already.

HAH! Got an email that's definitely not the truth:

"We regret to inform you that we must cancel Best Buds by Mom Jeans from your Barnes & Noble Order #4114801710. Our distributor for this item has notified us of the following:

“Our label only made a couple hundred units of this vinyl. “…The label is not able to make any more. . . We do not have any stock to fill any orders for any accounts at this time”

We know this is an inconvenience, and as an apology would like to give you a $5 Barnes & Noble eGift Card for you to use at bn.com or in any of our Barnes & Noble Retail stores.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and hope to see you again at Barnes & Noble and BN.com.

    - Barnes & Noble"

Lmao that's total bs, they just didn't want to fulfill orders. I didn't end up purchasing a copy myself, but I can't say I'm not surprised. At least they gave you a $5 e-gift card lol.

Nearly every record I’ve received of late has had a ton of damage to the mailer and a good amount of the jackets have had splits or creases. Partly at fault is bands/labels/shops skimping out with inconceivably poor packing, but it seems like there is even less care than before with parcels. Maybe I’ve just been on an unlucky streak.

Same here. In the last week, I've had 2 records arrived bent, yet the mailers they were sent in were of decent quality. One was shipped in a Whiplash mailer, and the other in a Mighty Music Mailer. Both records had bent jackets along the spine. One of them was bent in the middle and the record was broken, the other one was bent closer to the bottom but the record was badly warped. Had to return both. It seems the postal service is treating packages even more poorly than ever.

  6. Anything special about this repress other than it’s supposedly limited to 2,000? I placed an order for this album on Amazon last week, said it was temporarily out of stock but I thought I would try my luck. I just got notice today it should be shipping near the end of this month. Trying to decide if I should pick up a copy of this tomorrow and cancel my Amazon order or skip the drop tomorrow with the hopes Amazon will actually fulfill my order.

  7. This album was in press until sometime late last year (I remember seeing the beer w/ blue blob variant available at places such as Zia Records and even Amazon). I would just wait it out, they will repress it eventually. I would assume we’ll see a repress at some point this year. Newbury Comics did an exclusive last summer and I wouldn’t doubt they have another planned. Good luck!

Kind of feel the same. I really love this band and especially NMG, but the singles have not blown me away. Considered grabbing the black /300 but with $10 shipping and no apparent download code with it (I listen to a lot of music in the car and at work), I’m going to hold off and see what trickles down to the show and/or Bandcamp.

Same here. Love the singles, but kind of want to wait until the full album is released before committing to purchase a copy. Hoping there’s an indie and/or tour exclusive.

On a side note, anyone know where I can get a reasonably priced copy of NMG? All the vinyl variants seem to be sold out everywhere except in the UK. I wouldn’t mind purchasing the coke bottle clear from Banquet but shipping is pretty steep (£18 shipping to the US for a £17.99 record).
