  1. Anyone receive their copy over the weekend and dissatisfied with the packaging? My copy has a huge seam split plus the record is warped.
  2. Just received my replacement records...and they're warped worse than my original ones. Oh well.

  5. My favorite Pete & Pete episode w/ Polaris https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-idzbu5_scw My runner-up episode is when he gets grounded for the summer and digs his way out of the house
  6. The moral of the story is that A LOT of people still care about the Pete & Pete universe.

  10. Hello again, and thanks for your patience on receiving your Father John Misty replacement LPs. You may have received a similar email from us recently, but we've been getting many emails over the last week asking about the status of the replacement LPs, so we wanted to make sure you were updated here and now. Unfortunately for us, and due at least in part to the demands of Record Store Day, the plant pressing the vinyl for Father John Misty’s I Love You, Honeybear album has been unbelievably busy the past 2 months, and we’ve had to wait our turn in line to get our replacement tri-color LPs made. We were originally told we’d have these replacement LPs in our hands sometime in the middle of March, and that obviously didn't happen. Finally, this week we received word from the pressing plant that they're going to have these on the presses in the coming week. And they've told us we can let our customers know that we’ll be able to start shipping replacements from Sub Pop right around the first of May. We apologize for this delay and greatly appreciate your continued patience. Your friends at Sub Pop
  11. I like supporting Bull Moose and small jazz bands like Bruut! plus only 500 pressed on white. From what I researched they're growing in popularity in Europe.
  12. Stumbled upon this progressive jazz band called Bruut from Amsterdam on Bandcamp. I really dig their sound -- wanted to buy it on bandcamp but found it cheaper on Bull Moose. https://bruut.bandcamp.com/album/mad-pack
  13. Yes, season 1 and 2 have commentary from the creators as well as the actor who played Artie. I believe one of the two seasons had the actual Pete and Pete shorts before it became a full length TV show. The season 3 DVD was said to have the guys from Polaris reveal the mystery lyric to "Hey Sandy" in one of the commentaries.
  14. After years of buying Lollapalooza tickets and having the ticket page crash, I'm used to this kind of thing.
