  1. i got it through ebay, but not at the ridiculous buy it now prices, i bid on it up to about 55 dollars. not bad. congrats!
  2. so true, that chair is the biggest POS ever, but it works. so it stays.
  3. haha. i can take the pictures down if they are upsetting anyone it took me a long time to collect all of this gear, and one of the orange heads (the rocker 30) and the vox cab is actually my roomates. that is the alesis micron (digi-synth), which i actually just use as a midi controller 99% of the time.
  4. jealous. where did you get this from? i would really like to get a hold of it, but i dont want to pay ebay prices.
  5. i love the tiny terror. i bought the head and the 1x12 cab from some dude locally for $500. i was pretty happy about it. haha yeah, my brother caught me on a good day i guess. he records more music than i do, so i knew he would put them to good use.
  6. i actually gave the krk 5s to my younger brother. he needed something better than what he was using, and i decided to be nice one afternoon. haha.
  7. mainly price. i wanted to go with the Yamaha HS80M's, however, they are $350 each. i bought these KRK Rokit 8's on ebay from an authorized dealer during the 30% Microsoft Live Cashback promo that was running during Nov/Dec. i paid $499 for the pair, with the stands, and two XLR cables, shipped. after the 30% cashback (which i just got today actually) i paid $350 for the whole package, pretty good if you ask me =). prior to these monitors, i had the old KRK Rokit 5's, which i though did a pretty good job for the money. so i felt pretty confident i would be stoked with the Rokit 8's and the new design. and yes, i do use them for recording. i record on a hackintosh running logic studio, through a presonus firepod. overall, i am pretty happy with what we have been able to accomplish with this set up. here is a picture of the rest of the setup...for shits and giggles. /end rant.
  8. nothing too exciting, just another expedit, which i love to death.
  9. i believe there is a 2/17 release date on it at this point. who knows if that really means anything, but we can hope.
  10. picked this up at a local record store 3 days ago, for $3.95. william elliot whitmore - lattitudes (red, xxx/800)
  11. i apreciate the effort, however, insound is terrible with this sort of thing. you can add a lot of OOP records to your cart, but when you view your cart, you will notice they say *backordered. in other words, not available because they are OOP.
  12. looking for the following, if you have them and want to part with them, let me know. thanks! thrice - artist in the ambulance jeremy enigk - the return of the frog queen jimmy eat world - bleed american the hold steady - boys and girls in america
  13. just ordered all 3 of the makers. would like to pick up old canes, but i need to wait...too much money spent this week.
  14. any warp bums me out, but i typically just live with it. i recently purchased anberlin - new surrender, and it is warped sooooo bad. it plays ok, and i would rather not deal with returning it, but it is crazy wapred. funny enough, this was pressed by united.
