just curious, is there any official breakdown as to the colors of the first pressing of beggars? i am mildly curious as my copy is on translucent green and they never seem to pop up on the bay. i see plenty of mint green copies. just curious if there is any official breakdown of the colors of the first #'d 2000 copies? anyone else have a translucent green copy? maybe it is the most common color and thats why no one is flipping it on ebay? just pointless late night curiosity.

I have been using the Yaqin MS-12B for the last 6 months and love it. My dad has been using one for about a year and I decided to buy one based on how much he like his. It is very inexpensive for what you get. Search it on google, you will see it has quite a cult following. Here is a link to the guy I bought mine from on ebay. He is the main seller in Hong Kong, if you would rather buy from someone not in China, there is a guy on ebay who imports these and says he QC's them before shipping them out. i am still trying to get into the album. there are a handful of songs that i do like, namely heart is hard to find, movielike, and invented. coffee and cigarettes is terrible. overall i just feel like the album is somewhat boring and uninspired. very sad. also, my LP arrived today (from interpunk) the gatefold is in fine shape (albeit cheaply made), the LP itself is scuffed like crazy, and has finger smears all over the B side. the 7" is a joke, looks like the crappy Misfits 7" boots you find all over the place. at least it was free. hoping for the record to grow on me.

because i am not an asshole, i paypal'd him the $13 back for the LP. the whole ordeal was quite frustrating though...being lied to, waiting 3 weeks while being lied to, thus forcing me to open a paypal claim, having to call paypal, getting my money back from paypal, then mysteriously the record shows up after i file a claim, then i have to send you your $13. thanks for everything!

the record showed up today, with a June 14th ship date on it, 2 days AFTER I opened a Paypal claim. why the fuck did it take you 3 weeks to ship a record, and furthermore, why did you tell EVERYONE you shipped EVERYTHING on June 3rd?

sorry nolan. maybe try giving paypal a call, explain the situation, i am sure there are several claims filed against him now. maybe they can help you out, even though you sent it as a gift.

still nothing. paypal already gave me back my $13 so i am a happy camper, but this guys is an asshat.

file the claim. this isn't going anywhere. plus, if paypal sees a bunch of claims on an account at once, i am sure they will get the picture and ban this guy.

i escalated my dispute to a claim. he has not responded to my dispute that i filed with paypal 2 days ago, and he has logged in to this website several times since, so i know that he has seen that the dispute was filed. i hope most of you didn't sent your money to him as a gift.

guess what was not in my mail again today...you got it, my record. however, i did receive an LP that I ordered from Barsuk that I ordered on Jun 10 and was shipped via Media Mail on June 10th. Barsuk is in Seattle, WA and the record got here in 3 days (actuall USPS shipping days), yet a record that was "mailed" on June 3rd from Los Angeles is still not here. right.

The point is, he told everyone he shipped everything out on June 3rd yet nobody has received anything. In addition, I am moving in 2 weeks and if it's not here by then I will never get it (ie 1.5 months to ship won't cut it).

i am opening a claim right now...this is definatly fishy. nobody has received any records and he has yet to send me a delivery confirmation # that I have asked for 3 times now. " this would be fine if it hadnt been 8 days since he "shipped" an LP from Los Angeles to San Jose, which takes 2 days via Media Mail. if he truly mailed my LP i am sure he would have sent me the delivery confirmation # i have asked for 3 times now. paypal dispute opened.

Nothing. No response to my request for a delivery confirmation #. He has read my PMs but won't respond. I'm goig to file a paypal claim if I don't hear from him with a delivery confirmation # by tomorrow.

He finally replied to my PM today and said he shipped everything on June 3rd. I am finding that hard to believe since media mail usually takes 2-3 days max to get from LA to the Bay Area. If it is not in tomorrows mail I am going to ask him for a delivery confirmation # again, if I don't get one I'm opening a paypal claim. I'm tired of dealing with it.

has anyone receive their records yet? he told me that he shipped everything out last week but i have not received anything yet. i live about 6 hours from where he is shipping from and media mail typically takes 2 days to get here from LA. i am not trying to be impatient, however, the fact that nothing has shown up combined with not responding to my PMs, and not supplying a delivery confirmation # seems odd.

I haven't recieved mine yet, however, it's only been 5 days. Although I have not heard from him since I sent him my money. Hope to get a response soon!
