Speaking of their shows, did they sell any vinyl at the merch table?

 

I saw them in Nashville two weeks ago and vinyl was not available at the merch table.

Did anyone else find it strange that the audience started laughing towards the end of the song? I don't think I've ever seen that happen during a performance on a late night show..

 

Like previously noted, it was a laugh track.  I think the excessive string section, automatic piano, the laugh track, and his apathetic demeanor were all commentary on America / Entertainment.

I'm a little late on this album.  But,  better late than never.  Great.. great album.

 

What did the deluxe version include ? 

 

The deluxe features four art prints, a bonus 7", a gatefold jacket, and digital download.

Can't find this album at any of my local stores, had messages in to alert me when it arrived and nothing. Cave and order from amazon? It's estimated at 3 weeks...

I really like Nick Drake but I've never ventured past the 3 proper albums. Which of these are essential?

 

Honestly, all three of them are pretty good, and official releases from the estate.  However, I find Made To Love Magic and Family Tree to be the better of the three... that family tree album was just pressed? It was in stores like 6-9 months ago...do you mean that pressing, or another one??? It may be pretty old news my friend...?

 

The only pressing I'm familiar with is the original in 2007.  According to Amazon, this pressing doesn't come out until 12/9.

I picked up the UO Exclusive Red at my local UO yesterday.  They only had 4, and the jackets were damaged on 3/4.  Also, I received my signed copy from MyPlayDirect today and it is signed and was surprisingly packaged well.

Mine showed up yesterday with quit a bit of damage from shipping.  I emailed Newbury and they were quick to take care of the situation... though since I was charged $8.99 for shipping, I'm confused as to why they shipped it Media Mail in the first place.
