  1. I figured I'd make a thread here, just to try my luck. I'm looking for a copy of Thrice's The Artist in the Ambulance. Could care less if it's sealed, though a jacket in respectable condition would be great. I see them surface on eBay from time to time, but I'd love to snag a copy that isn't ridiculously overpriced. If anyone is willing to help a guy out, feel free to shoot me a PM. I'd like to keep it within $50 - $60 or so, but I'm open for negotiations. I understand that I'm new to the boards, but I'll gladly link my eBay account to potential sellers. 100% buying feedback with 90+ purchases. Nothing impressive, but I take pride in prompt payment and communication. Thanks for reading.
  2. Yeah, that sounds about right. I'm well aware that Brand New isn't exactly the most motivated group of guys, and thus rely on bumping back deadlines way too often... but with everything, all the time? It just gets old. Maybe that's just me. Not trying to play the blame game, but the whole wait a month... canceled the day before routine is a little overdone at this point. If it were any other record, I probably wouldn't care as much. But the fact so many people are going to immediately swam AFS, and/or purchase ridiculous quantities to flip has me on my toes, for this release. I wish they'd just release this shit and get it over with.
  3. How about the payday after that? Or the one after that? Or... Yeah... I hate to be a negative Nancy, but I wouldn't be surprised if this release never saw the light of day. The fact it wasn't bumped back, like last time, but flat out (indefinitely) postponed until otherwise notified is a little unsettling. I wonder what the band-related reason for delay could be for.
  4. Yessir. For $5, I believe. I know they were available on Merchnow just last week. I've seen efforts to flip them for $10 or $15, but a Buy It Now for $30 seems ridiculous. Guess that's how it's done, though.
  5. Hey, thanks for the speedy clarification. Much appreciated. This is hands down the most dramatic pre pre-order I've ever seen. Wonder what sort of plot twists are in store for 02/02.
  6. Just caught up on the last four pages - I saw no mention of a Hot Topic exclusive color limited to 100. Your eyes were likely playing tricks on you. But in truth, it's a quarter after 06 a.m. So I suppose I could say the same for myself. Not that I'm confused, but I just want to clarify: The "Triple Crown" version that was just released (/5000)... it's all one version being sold through Triple Crown's site, merchdirect.net/brandnew, and possibly Interpunk [etc.], correct? I was under the impression that the band was releasing it on their own label (Procrastinate!) Just wanted to verify if the TDAG we can pre-order now, through various sites, is all of the same 5,000 batch. Regardless of which site it is available on. Definitely stoked to see what the new album art will be.
  7. Wow... such an extensive collection, Randy. I give you props. I was pretty big on the Legos as a kid... I recall putting together a Pirate set, back in the day, but it definitely wasn't one of those ships. Did you say your pirate set was complete? Not that I'd suggest selling them or anything, but I imagine their value as a whole would be pretty impressive, down the road.
  8. I don't know that it's humanly possible to sum it up any better than Shanholtzer has, to tell you the truth.
  9. $80 for a sealed Deja Entendu, first pressing. By far the most I've spent (and likely will spend) on a record, ever.
  10. Don't know what to tell you. Shit's fine. gullible gul⋅li⋅ble /ˈgʌləbəl/ Show Spelled Pronunciation [guhl-uh-buhl] –adjective 1. easily deceived or cheated. 2. easily gulled; that may be duped. Just following format.
  11. Super stoked to hear this, now... not to say that I wasn't already. I think an initial listen at 128 is inexcusable... but that could be my inner audiophile speaking. I keep hearing that Common Existence is leaps and bounds beyond A City... which I didn't think was that bad. Gets me stoked for a clean/quality leak, it does.
