Just noticed that Sloan has Never Hear The End Of It, their double album from 2006 (and their best album of the 00s) on their store. I paid a lot of money on this on Discogs earlier this year, don't be like me and get it for a more reasonable price!

The pressing otherwise looks the same as my copy, I wonder if they found some left over stock somewhere or is this a sign of some more represses coming??

I wish the Jack and Brendan show was getting pressed on vinyl. That sounds more interesting to me than another live band show. 

Got mine a few weeks ago, it's great. Those early versions of Between The Bridges songs are great, and one of Pat's 12 songs has an early version on this as well.

I saw the band on Friday night, they were great, if you have the chance go see one of these shows.

The colour is unique to Secretly Society but the LP is not, according to the Secretly Society e-mail I received on Tuesday:

I subbed for the purple Axxess and Aces a few months ago and really liked it. But they are bad for releasing unique pressings to records that recently came out. Strand of Oaks' new record got a Secretly Society pressing about a month or two after it came out in stores, so lots of people ended up with two copies. You can skip a record and take the next month's but you can only do that once every six months. 

I'll sign up for this but I'll wait till after this month as I already have the Faye Webster record.

Yeah, you're right for sure. I'm always happy with more Molina work, SC has done a good job keeping a steady stream of releases coming. 

I'm disappointed it's not Sojourner or Mi Sei Apparso Come Un Fantasma, but The Lioness is one of my favourite JM albums, so I'm excited regardless.

Yes you're right, clearly because I'd like to collect a special edition, the music is not my priority at all.

Yeah pretty disappointed to see no way to order the colour versions in North America at all. I hope this isn't the same situation with the new Kurt Vile album later this year.

I've reached out to Bull Moose in the past to ask why they won't ship to non-US addresses and the answer was that they can't (or won't?) process non-US credit cards (for some reason??). 

Did Ryan forget about the Baby I Love You 7"? 

The 30% more time could be interesting for those CD-era albums, recorded/mastered digitally, that sit around the 50 minute mark. It'd be nice to listen to an album like Yankee Hotel Foxtrot and only flip it once. 

Otherwise, I remain skeptical.

Anyone get their Sloan preorders from Yep Rock yet? I got an e-mail saying it had shipped on March 21st but the tracking has just been sitting on "label created".

Yeah sometimes they knock it out of the park like with the last White Stripes boxset. But this feels a little lackluster for a "special edition". Oh well, I really like the album otherwise! 

So I ended up ordering from Discogs, from a reputable seller. The record arrived earlier this week and it's so warped it won't actually play, the needle just keeps bouncing around. I sent pictures/video to the seller and they said it must have happened in manufacturing and suggested I reach out to the label. So I e-mailed Temporary Residence a few days ago and my e-mail hasn't been responded to. Does anyone have any dealings with them or any advice?
