That sounds like a solid packaging upgrade. Some mailers are like tanks - others are almost pointless.

I've found quite a few places I order from here use reasonable mailers - Norman and Banquet being notable from memory. Otherwise yeah, those horrible 'paper' mailers are bad. Fortunately nothing has ever come worse than a corner ding, but that's domestic. Ever had any serious damage from those?

Won't they be selling it on the day? You could walk in when they open on the day and buy it...or am I not seeing something here? It would seem unlikely that they'll actively NOT sell it to you.

Since my roadtrip through various parts of the states isn't too far away, thought it would be wise to start compiling some suggestions now. Would you like hit up some cool places at each stop - so have at it! LA San Fran Chicago Seattle Vancouver Nothing too specific I'm looking for so all types of stores are fair game. Also hitting a few smaller places like Whistler, Banff and Calgary so if there are any gems there... Cheers!

Great stuff. I called mine as they pretty much always get any indie exclusive - they've put on aside for me. Job done, local store supported and I got the mysterious blue press that "people are killing each other for". Never heard of people killing for a coloured vinyl pressing, but the world is a strange place. This thread needs to be nuked from orbit.
