For anyone that's seeing them this week on the little run down south they're doing, I was at the show last night and they had 4 versions of Designing and 2 versions of Your Majesty.
I *believe* they were $25 each
Last night's set was super- Your Majesty heavy. They sounded great and were really enjoying themselves on-stage together.
How different was the set from this one? http://www.setlist.fm/setlist/the-anniversary/2016/the-bottleneck-lawrence-ks-63fd9e3b.html
They played a good mix of both albums on the last run, though there was a couple from Your Majesty I wished they played.

My company did lighting for the Chicago show this weeked, and I actually helped get the lighting rig together for them. I was pretty pumped about it, needless to say. I know it was a small rig but it looks like they did it right! What did you think about the rig?

I think you missed the last few posts.....
Wow damn I'm sorry, I'm super high right now. I thought you all were talking about Your Majesty... My bad.
Anywho, I'm probably going with the splatter as well.

Listening as I type this. Only through the first song and I can tell I'm going to love it.
To be fair, I'm probably more into Owen overall than American Football, so my opinion may differ from most.

What's the rest of the merch sitch look like? They had a lot of designs on their website that are not available anymore, hoping I can still snag some stuff.
The last couple of pictures on this webpage show all their merch:

The band didn't seem very happy with this entire process and mentioned it has been a big pain in the ass. So these will no doubt be available online. I didn't open the record to see if it was colored or not, but it does have an obnoxious 180 gram vinyl sticker on the cover of you are into that sort of thing.
They commented on Facebook and said they would put them on their merchtable after the tour as well. I'm hoping you mean the sticker is on the shrinkwrap and not the actual cover...

They said more tour dates are coming.
Looking like they won't make it to the East Coast until early 2017.
The dates will be in December, I'm sure they'll be all east coast. I can't say how I know, but trust me.

A 2016 repress test press of Your Majesty is on eBay. Looks like we're getting repressings of both.
Based on what else is being sold by that seller, I'm pretty sure it's Josh Berwanger or someone else in the anniversary selling this. Might be worth it?

Oh damn, duh. I forgot about this. With STWHA being very important to the history of Doghouse, it makes sense why they want to keep it so readily available.
Edit: now I'm confused.
"In 1999, Vagrant Records signed Kansas City, Missouri, band, The Get Up Kids, and the band's Vagrant debut, Something to Write Home About, was released in September 1999. Egan and Cohen borrowed US$50,000 from Cohen's parents to fund the recording of the Get Up Kids album, derived from the mortgaging of the family house"
I believe Something to write home about CD was Vagrant, vinyl was Doghouse.

A liiiittle bummed at which plant they're using for this press....hopefully it turns out sounding OK
Is this plant known for pressing errors? What has happened in the past? I would be devastated if this pressing ended up sounding like shit.

Very interested to see how it comes off, I mean, he did sing half the songs, so I assume Josh is singing all of them?
I went to Taste of Chaos this last weekend. Josh sang all the songs, I'd say they did half Josh and half Justin songs. They had some keyboard difficulties to start, but overall they were incredible! I'm flying out to Lawrence in September to see them again.
Edit: I put a setlist here: http://www.setlist.fm/setlist/the-anniversary/2016/san-manuel-amphitheater-festival-grounds-san-bernardino-ca-bff318a.html
It's incomplete and in the wrong order, but you get the jist.

Someone on this board gave me advice to wait to purchase since it was probably getting repressed... Thanks for the advice! I AM SO PUMPED

Haha well too much TGUK is hardly a bad thing. I also noticed that listing said first time Eudora is on vinyl! Just repress Guilt Show dammit, the prices on that have gone wacky
That's interesting they say it's the first time on vinyl... this has been pressed in 2001 and 2013 according to discogs. I have a 2001 release in my personal collection as well.

I really hope this just gets repressed someday.
It's likely this gets repressed within the next couple of years...I'm hoping so. It'd be cool to have an original pressing to go with my Your Majesty, but I'd gladly take a repress. Here's hoping that will come out of their reunion.
-
Agreed, but it'd still be cool to have an original.
This is the year to do it if they ever are since they are reuniting, but I'm not holding my breath.

Hey All,
This is one of my holy grails, I have a couple things I'd be willing to trade it for, or I'd be willing to buy it as long as the price isn't insane.
Have to Trade:
Arctic Monkeys - R U Mine? RSD 7" Purple
The Promise Ring - Nothing Feels Good Pink (Original Press)
Jimmy Eat World - Bleed American 3XLP, Gold Silver Blue
I have most of my collection on here: https://www.discogs.com/user/AtarisBSBH98/collection
If there's something on there you'd want to trade it for as well it doesn't hurt to ask.
Thanks
-
I have it and might be willing to trade for the right item. Do you have a list I can look at?
-
Interested in Sigur Ros Ágætis byrjun. What's your price?

Looks like Red Letter Day EP is getting a 10" repress for record store day this year.

Nice! I had hoped they played O Lady Butterfly when I saw them in Kansas in September. Pretty solid set overall though.
