  1. yeah I got a coupon as well and I just ordered it on Friday.
  2. The guy always kills it. I saw him a few months back and he was fantastic. He's back in two weeks and i'll be there again.
  3. now that these are finally shipping I went ahead and ordered one. Really looking forward to this one arriving.
  4. the depantsing followed by a submission hold is a nice combo.
  5. Agreed though I'd like dancing echoes/dead sounds
  6. Grade whom I still love and saw half a dozen times back in the day. The Clash
  7. I picked up the double lp and luckily there is no warping. I'm really enjoying the record and as ptrsev mentioned this is far better than our love to admire. It's renewed my faith in the band.
  8. will be buying on payday. The tracks on their myspace are tough as hell.
  9. Armageddon Shop is a pretty rad record store in Providence.
  10. hell yeah I'm glad I was able to see them live as well.
  11. download the Titus record. The band is amazing. I just saw them last night.
  12. Real name: Devin Favorite Bands: Grade, Fucked Up, Drag The River, Austin Lucas, Coliseum, The Detroit Cobras, Planes Mistaken For Stars, Rival Schools, Titus Andronicus .... What's your Facebook/Twitter/Tumblr etc.?: http://twitter.com/DevTheRiver I'm on facebook too. Hobbies (outside of record collecting): I work 50 to 60 hours a week and on my days off I have my sons so we color and draw a lot, play outside and have "Rock N Roll parties" as my four year old puts it. I try hit up shows as often as I can afford a babysitter. I also enjoy football. Play in a band? Run a record label? Link us!: nope but I briefly ran a record label in college. We put out three releases. Random things you want us to know about you: I have two sons who are awesome and a pretty rad dog. I was married once (well still legally am I suppose). I work overnights. I have a tattoo of a severed zombie hand that says "rock out!" I also don't proofread as much as I should. I watch a lot of movies.
  13. Good luck man and if I'm ever in Houston I'll be swinging by for sure.
  14. I saw them twice in one day. They played an all ages shows in the back of a record at 3 in the afternoon that was insanity. Damian picking up kids and carrying them over his shoulder and they played mostly older stuff during the early set which was rad. Then 8 hours later they played a 21 and up show. Overall it was an amazing day. FU is one of my favorite bands but I stopped trying to track down some of their obscenely rare records as I just don't have that kind of cash flow.
  15. The dude is amazing. All of his albums run in heavy rotation on my table.
  16. "The physical threats were usually delivered via e-mail or the phone; sometimes to the more diminutive or aged, like the computer consultant or the old landlord, in person. "You better watch out, I'll kick your ass, motherfucker!" he'd scream, his Midwest over-enunciation giving the swear an adolescent twang. "I'm a hardcore guy! You better respect me!" was often added on, as if the reputation of this dejected genre preceded him." It's a lengthy story from a guy who did PR there and quit a few years back. It's a good read.
