  1. I'm sure it is high-larious, but I would rather not contribute to it staying on the air in any way, shape, or form. MTV in general needs to be eradicated...just my $0.02 What? And loose great programming like 16 and Pregnant and the aforementioned Jersey Shore? Who will the children look up to? Elliot Stabler?
  2. Is there a vomit emotey thing? There fucking should be.
  3. How about someone update the front page? I'm getting tired of looking at that shitty Tim Barry picture.
  4. Zoidberg: This board sucks. The new one is much better. http://thevinylcollective.proboards.com/index.cgi
  5. Perhaps if you were having more sex of your own, the sounds emanating from other rooms under your roof would suddenly become less important.
  6. J. G. Thirwell. Sounds like a Southern Baptist Lawyer from the 1920's. Or some pretentious old sod with a dog named Belvedere. I like it. Just the name. The music sucks.
  7. Dinner with a large group of friends. Fireworks on the levee. Drinks the entire time.
  8. Dude, this is the internet. Get a grip. Your piss-ant little comments roll right off my back. I don't want kids, and if I did, I reserve little doubt they would not be posting snide remarks on message boards whilst making woefully erroneous spelling mistakes. Merry Christmas. Go breed with a sheep.
  9. This public service announcement would be much more suited to a place that isn't frequented exclusively by bearded weirdos; those that aspire to be bearded weirdos; or those that like to date bearded weirdos.
  10. Too soon? Too bad. Love, Bradley, BA Official Board Asshole Vinyl Collective 123 Take Yr Money Blvd Denver, CO 80010
  11. What? Tom Gabel is a sellout. I am a forward thinker.
  12. These people are dicks. It sucks that they exist, especially for the people that serve them. I am not one of these people. So I do not expect any server to be in a shitty mood because of one of them. They are an occupational hazard. Deal with it; move on. Being pissy because of them WILL make ME tip LESS. Again, it's not about you, it's about ME.
  13. Simmer down, cowboy. Nobody said anything about not tipping at all.
  14. Someone wants a hemi for his I-ROC and a case of Buds for Christmas. Lol. Perfect.
  15. Sorry. The job of Official Board Asshole has already been taken.
  16. I think it's precious that you pay that much attention to what I say to recall a thread that is nearly a year old. If I'm not mistaken, I didn't even have 1000 posts at that point since I had not yet been here for a year. You must really love me.
  17. I'm shooting for an AP cover. Who needs cred when you're having fun?
  18. At the nomination of everyone's favorite music editor, Scott, I requested of Juan that he change my title to "Official Board Asshole". Juan made it so. I can't tell you how honored and privileged I am to bear this most special of titles. Thanks.
  19. How am I an asshole, I'm curious. What did I say that is incorrect or beyond the realm of expectation?
  20. Entitled asshole. Lovely. As a server, you're the liaison of the establishment. You're the point of contact between the patron, the management, the auxiliary staff, the chef and kitchen staff, and anyone else that works there. It is your job to make the impression and to embody whatever it is that establishment is attempting to convey. Is it fair that you get shit on if the bus boy gives me silverware with someone else's food stuck to it? Or that you have to do extra work because the cook didn't listen and put olives in my salad? No, it isn't. But that's part of the job. I'm paying for this, so I expect things to be a certain way. If that makes me an entitled asshole, then I am definitely that. Funny how this is in a thread about taking extra care as a letter carrier. He/she, by all rights, could just put your precious vinyl on your step in direct sunlight or some other element. It's his job to drop it off at your house; nothing more. But yet we're talking about people that go that extra mile to do their job to the best of their abilities and being rewarded because of it. Everyone is so hard done by. Waaahhhhh.
  21. I was a server at a bar/grill when I was in my early 20's. So I do understand. As a patron, no, there are not acceptable levels if indifference or bad mood. I could easily eat, possibly better and undoubtedly cheaper, in the comfort of my own home. You go out not necessarily for the food, but for the ambiance and experience. If some bitchy server shows up at my table with her panties in a bunch because her manager gave her a slap on the wrist over nothing, that isn't much of an experience for me, now is it? This is the way I feel. If you disagree, fine. Just hope you never have to bring me my food or beverages. From the sound of the places you work, I doubt that would ever happen anyway. Love, Bradley.
