I would assume just because it's a milk alternative? I usually just call it Silk or just call it soy. I don't really say soy milk all that much. i worked @ borders for almost 6 years, whenever i was in the cafe, without fail, someone would want soy "milk" and over the years it started to piss me off...kinda like people who say they are from Rowayton, CT...shut the fuck up, your from norwalk, you use the norwalk beach, the parks, the damn city hall and the schools....fail.

seriously, i hate the fact they call this "soy milk" its fucking soy juice. you cant milk a goddamn soy bean. but that said, while im lactose intolerant, i wont drink any of this stuff. not 100% sure why, but good chance its because of my above rant.

i went to this in like may... cursive played 2 sets, one the new album in its entirety and the second was a "greatest hits" set which was just crowd favorites. i might try to go, but with funds right now, i'll probs skip out. if anyone is travelling to NYC for the show let me know, ive got floor space, 2 aero beds and a pull out sofa.

I realize I'm probably doing the wrong thing but I just look at it as less of an opportunity to lose what I already have. Anything further risks ruining it and making things awkward, which I have done in the past... several times I've made it clear what my true intentions were to a guy I've had interest in, they've ignored me from then on and cut me out of their lives completely. Only once did a guy actually have a mature reaction and despite not being interested back, we're still good friends to this day. I don't even remember how I even went about telling him I how I felt. i agree, take the chance. if they wont keep you in their lives over something like that, then they dont truly care about you.
