  1. Remission should have been a clear purple with white smoke. Would have looked amazing!
  2. It's payday! make me offers and move this stuff. I can add prices later tonight.
  3. Well I didn't go the other day because I couldn't find my enhanced license. I got it for the Coheed and Torche tour that never happened due to gear being stolen so I never used the license. Now when I need it, it's no where to be found. Both us dudes are off tomorrow(Friday) so I am currently ripping my house apart in hopes of finding it. (also throwing a lot of shit out, which is good) If I don't find it I will order a new one and go up as soon as it arrives in 2 weeks, problem is once I order a new one they void my old one. If I were to order one today and find it in 3 hours it would be no good so I am waiting until all hope is lost. Thanks for all the advice, hopefully I will be able to get up there tomorrow!
  4. The box set is really the way to go with Mastodon vinyl. The cover of Emerald alone is worth it.
  5. Thanks guys! I'd be up there already if I could find my damn license! I hate this border crossing shit. It was never a hassle.
  6. I agree with Mike. Going to a record store and looking through records in the 90s was awesome. The youth crew stuff was in used bins, Victory was actually putting out a few decent albums(something that haven't done since at least 2000, if not earlier). Going to an out of town record store was a whole new chance to find awesome shit. And you often did. Now it's impossible, you have to know someone before the record hits ebay. The internet made everything easier but it sucked a lot of the spirit and fun out of it. Anyone can buy themselves a big collection online in no time.
  7. I dont think I have bought a mail order in ten plus years now. I used to have the stubs all over the friggin place.
  8. There has been a discussion ongoing with my friends about a certain record store that we grew up with and is now closed. It's been closed for more then ten years but the impact it had on all of us is still going strong. It was about 2-3 miles from my parents house. It was open while I was in high school and a bit beyond I think. I used to skate there after school and look through records for hours, every day. In the summer we all hung out there. We all skated and they had a skate shop too. They opened at noon and we were outside at noon and they had to kick us out at night. Shows happened up stairs. I remembered every record they had in there so the minute something new came in it stood out like a sore thumb to me. Internet was around but no one cared. As records came out, the store got them and we were stoked. I remember the day I got the Descendents Everything Sucks LP. I was beyond thrilled. I also remember getting the kid dynamite records when they came out. That stands out because the kid that worked there wouldnt sell them to a local guy because he just wanted to sell them online. Color vinyl was a treat if you got it but there was no pre order crap, not many variants. It was more fun back then. I know there are guys older then me on here that have been doing it longer but that's when I started. Early 90s.
  9. In the late 90's early 2000's the big thing was Screamo. Real stuff, not the shit that's out today. Records were pressed in smaller numbers and a bit harder to find, prices were crazy. Now all that stuff is mostly worthless. You can find records that always sold for a lot of money for a couple bucks now. A few held their own but for the most part it's everywhere and it's cheap. I see that happening with a lot of the bands that are hyped on here starting soon. People will start dumping collections and the price of other "fair weather" fans collections will drop and there will be an abundance of records for cheap. That's when you kind of get a feel for who buys records because they love the format, and who buys records as a hobby.
  10. A friend has a lot on his mind and has been a bit down, as have I. He just asked if I wanted to take a trip up to Toronto tomorrow to get out of Buffalo for a while and record shop. I know about Rotate This / Hits and Misses but it's been a few years since I have been up there. What should we check out while we are up there? Record shopping is a must but we will need a good place for food, nothing fancy and no sort of restriction (vegan etc). Ideas for other fun stuff to do/places to shop/check out are also welcome! Record wise we are both into Metal, Hardcore, Punk etc. Used vinyl stores are awesome if they have good variety. I know there has to be some spots I haven't been. Driving isn't an issue so if there is something right outside of the city please let me know! Thanks in advance! Now time to hunt for my enhanced license.
  11. He just wants to get rid of these. I think his space is limited and he just bought a ton of records. Purging stuff he has doubles of I think. Make offers, not looking for a lot.
  12. Selling these for a friend. Please send offers. Just looking to help him get rid of these so prices will be reasonable. Coliseum - Goddamage (sealed) deluxe reissue, no idea what color. David Dondero - South of the South 2xlp David Dondero - Simple Love Dysrhythmia - Barriers and Passages (green with black streaks) hand numbered out of 500 Nachtmystium - Eulogy IV Pg.99 - Document #8 (robotic 12" repress) Pg.99 - Document #7 ( grey marble) Pg.99/Majority rule - split lp He is also looking for the Thou - Empires lp and is willing to pay for it. So if you have that get in touch please! Thanks!
  13. Those look like the smaller ones they did after the big rubber ones. I could be mistaken though.
  14. I am sure it will happen. The last 2 lps pressed were pretty limited. 300 first time, 200 the seond. They probably get all 500 at the same time. Sells out quick. I need to grab this press as I got the first already. Such a damn great band.
  15. I have recently been thinking of trying to find a place to help out. I know there are a bunch of types of organizations out there that are looking for help so I am really looking for people who have done this in the past or are currently doing so. Where did you volunteer? What was it like etc etc. Share some stories please!
  16. I had a few of the bigger hard rubber ones. Those things were a blast, but if you got nailed by a flying one that shit left a bruise!
  17. They are floating around out there but I would love to get them all from one seller. Also interested in both covers of Jersey Shores lp but would prefer the Japanese cover.
  18. I need another copy of this record. Might pick up this boot to see how it sounds.
  19. I think Buffalo is blessed with amazing pizza on every corner. These types of places are few and far between, luckily. I would imagine Chicago and NYC are the same way.
  20. I was with it until the end. Would have been awesome if they actually drove a tank over some douches Ferrari.
  21. You were in sit and spin today. We tried to find you but you drove away. Dave would like to possibly buy all the lps. Spiralscratchrecords @ yahoo.com if youre around. Get in touch!
  22. Yeah I have had it a while. I bought a color press from HT at one point but someone wanted it so I sold it. There are probably still copies sitting there. I should go check tomorrow.
