My good friends Pat and Vanessa Jean Speckman from Santa Clara, CA. do a zine called Lubricated, some of you may or may not have heard of it... they distro it for free and rely on ads and donations from like minded people to make it happen. They are on their 3rd issue which will have interviews with Bob and Austin Lucas, Chris Wollard, Todd Beene of Glossary/Lucero, Possesed By Paul James, The Takers and lots more... They do reviews and have a pretty solid grasp on things up there! my wife use to be a banker and she would almost always take aat least some of the OD fees for people that hse did not know.. (i think it was their policy to do up to 3 or so, but if you talk to someone real cool about it, who knows... it will not hurt to ask...
