yeah, it's an alternate mix of "clouds taste metallic", which probably should have been in the clouds box set that came out a few months ago. not sure what's going on with the lips these days... it sucks, because i know they can still make good music and put on a fucking great live show.

only thing i'm really interested in is the flaming lips cd. wonder how hard that's gonna be to get.

got my copy in the mail today. and, yeah, it looks like mellowtooth's copy. not sure what they mean by "splatter". still a good album, though.

got my copy in the mail, today. black... of course. so far, i'm liking it more than manipulator. it's reminding me a lot of... i dunno... clinic meets devo, kinda?. good stuff, good stuff.

i have tickets to see them in may. was gonna pre-order from amazon, as i'm not interested in the slipmat, 7", or stupidly expensive shipping. but figured i'll just get it at the show, if it's good. i'm strangely not in a hurry to hear this for whatever reason. maybe it's cause centipede hz. wasn't my favorite... anyways, yeah. psyched to see them live again. last time was at a festival, before MPP came out.
