Had one in my cart, but $70 damn.
yeah, shipping ain't cheap since it's going overseas. but, no taxes, and not as bad most flippers. oh well. that site had a few other rarities on there as well (there still may even be a few still up).

1975: https://townsendmusic.store/product/110992
keep refreshing, the site is timing out occasionally.

as a reminder: 8 p.m UK time; 3 p.m EDT, 2 p.m. CDT., 12 p.m. PDT in a matter of hours is when UK stores can go live. just...yeah.

LF Pearl Jam Give Way CD version if anyone comes across it.
Thanks!
if all else fails, goodrecordstogo.com is going to get a decent batch in the middle of the week, so you may want to keep any eye out there. also, Macho (for those interested) got delayed in transit (they were allocated multiple copies but delivery got jammed -- they were pissed at the distributor from which the store ordered (shipped tardy)), and 1975 CDs (a few) are on the way, too. just fyi.

Plaid Room Records still seems to have most everything in stock, will start selling tomorrow morning at 0800 Eastern. They also have their stock numbers on every item, so you should be able to get a good idea of what will be around in the morning. Free shipping over $50, package everything like a tank. They are my go to.
Just keep in mind that they don't revise stock numbers until after today has ended -- the numbers you see are definitely not what is "currently" in stock. Indeed, if you see anything other than "more than 20/30/50" in stock, there's a high probably the item has already sold out. But you never know, so worth checking. Better be logged in a quick to the trigger -- remaining overstock on that site (as well as Bullmoose) typically sells out fast.

trying to get suede sci fi lullablies shipped from the UK to the US. looks like my best bet is to wait for rough trade to post their unsold inventory friday night local time but if anyone has any EU leads please let me know.
the reinstatement of the ridiculous week-long UK wait for online sales (suspended during covid over the last two years) is just nagging, and frankly, non-sensical. either the people are eager over the entirety of two weekend days and buy a copy of a title, or they aren't. so why not release leftovers sooner online?

What are you after? I’ve had plenty of people check their stores for me over the past decade here. I’d be happy to check my store
pretty much wallows only. just don't want to pay $100-110+ for it, at least not right now.
trying to find kittie for a few people. seems like that's a bit of a surprise (to me) high-in-demand title for those still on the prowl; for that, i'm not, though.
really strange. like, there were 17,000 pressed or something of twenty one pilots location sessions last year for one particular drop...they "sold out" virtually everywhere, and as i'm searching for things for people i'm actually seeing it pop up for standard retail price at a few online stores when i check "RSD" inventory (some stores lump everything RSD-related into one hotchpot, others segregate based on past drops! so i don't know what to think.
what i really hate are the "indie" record stores (yes, i realize they are in fact independent), but are DEPENDENT in that they employ that same, universal-looking website/database format for their online stores (most know what i'm talking about), and you haven't a ****'s clue whether they might have a copy or two...or more of something on their actual floor as opposed to the main warehouse database where the website toggles over to "Unavailable" automatically based on the allocation the store was actually given, according to the algorithm.

Well I suck and slept through everything. Still looking for Kittie.
yeah. i'm still after a title. camped out at a large store (that told me they had plenty of copies) overnight, only to be near the front of the line, get in...and find nothing of the sort. raced to a sorta close-by, smaller store to see if it had any, and it did, but sold out by the time i got there. went to a concert last night, stayed up late again, set my alarm, thought i might sleep through it due to lack sleep and...yep. slept through it. woke up about 2 hrs past online sales, and apparently there were a couple sites that had a ton of copies available for quite some time, but were sold out by the time i awoke.
can't believe i may have to resort to a flipper for one of 15,000 copies (not TS), which is absurdly high for RSD (unless someone can help me out w/ some intel or some such).
oh well, RSD tales of woe, per normal. haha.

The prices have to come way down after a few weeks. There’s 10,000 of them. The prices for the hand numbered /4000 7”s from her first LP don’t go for as much. I will be pricey for a 7”, but no way they go for more than $75 by this summer.
i think the TS 7" may be close to or the most demanded item in RSD history, so unless one got it for free or some such (via lottery, first few in line at list price after extended camping, get extremely lucky in a few hours when random outlets post one copy for sale -- a virtual lottery -- whatever...) this thing isn't going to be a "drop in price over time item" like typical RSD releases. far from it, in my opinion.
you will not find this on the secondary market under three digits, ever, despite "10,000" pressed." a highly atypical RSD release. hell, the other TS item may not be far behind the 7" in terms of demand. i just don't see it happening re: the 7". i'm afraid you're looking at shelling out a crap-ton of money OOP "forever and always" or "evermore" (lol) unless you were (or will be) extremely lucky in a lottery of some sort, camped out a very long time, or find some idiot in the future on ebay who ends an auction at a stupid time on a random day in the coming days or years.
i guess one might be able to find a copy online at a record store's online shop when items go live, but one would have to act insanely fast and have a spreadsheet or something ready to roll with links that one can ram through as quickly as humanly possible upon an online onsale.

I think I'm going to hold off on buying anything until the sound quality reviews come out. Assuming there will be US vs EU presses.
and i'm holding off indefinitely because i don't particularly care for essentially any of the tracks that have been either released or were played during the livestream a few months ago.
just because thom york and jonny greenwood are involved in a project doesn't necessarily make something an insta-buy...for me, anyway.

goodrecordstogo.com had a ton of Dee Gees and St. Vincent (granted, i was first in line), so i don't know much. i saw like 100+ Dee Gees and 100+ St. Vincent; their remaining stock goes live at 2 a.m. CDT.
-
this place outfits the urban (and rural) very little. i don't like the fact that i place a pre-order for vinyl literally 3 minutes after an onsale starts, only to be placed on backorder due to yet-to-be production (as expected), but, for months and months, delay after delay, and then to cap it off, the order is cancelled after about a half a year -- even after multiple "restocks" that come and go.
and to cap it off, they send you a code for 15% off your next purchase as a "a little something for you"-- but can't be applied for any vinyl purchase! even if they offer you "express shipping" on your next vinyl purchase, the fine print explicitly excludes vinyl, even though the representatives over the phone or in a chat say it will work. i'm not buying clothes from you; i am buying vinyl.
one time i got a code for 30% off and free express shipping and was assured it would work for a vinyl purchase -- not the case. didn't work.
adios, muchachos.
