  1. i don't know, i'm kind of feelin' it now ...
  2. grosss! I don't remember him ever looking that way.
  3. If the song were more serious I'd be inclined to agree, but I love that line so much because it's just fun and is a perfect match with the instrumentals I feel like I was always the odd (wo)man out when it came to Alkaline Trio. I didn't like them until I was almost 17 and they had been around for a while by that time and all my friends had always been super into them. And this song was a huge reason for my automatic disdain towards them. goddamnit totally makes up for any of that though.
  4. did. &thanks for all of the advice from everyone. we ended up spending a splendid afternoon in a park sitting on a huge log that was laying across a swamp. things are better than they have been since we started dating over four years ago. anyways, thanks
  5. crossedoff requested some recent pictures of me and my man. unfortunately a bottle of opened champagne was put in the same bag as my digital camera, so I don't have any from the past 6 months or so. These aren't very recent. From last summer I think. The second may be earlier than that.
  6. I know! I knew it would be good, but I was surprised at how good! I want to go see it again already.
  7. that's how it was during the 1930s as well. American cinema thrived while the economy sunk. Especially comedies. Everybody needs an escape. I'm glad I'm spending insane amounts of money to go to school for this shit during a recession. i can't get over you and hannah montana. I spent my weekend seeing "I Love You, Man" and it was awesome. In so many ways.
  8. i wanted to put IKEA first, but I'm too late. oops, &Acid House Kings <3
  9. YES! I completely agree. That really does make me cringe and almost barf. I feel like I bring this up every couple of months.
  10. this is sweet. i wish i could text him. he doesn't have it nice meals are the shit. and I am a pretty awesome cook.
  11. thankyou. seriously. I was afraid I may get a lot of those.
  12. people who save parking spots with high chairs, trash cans, play pens, stuffed animals etc. all of these have been seen outside my apartment.
  13. Okay, so my boyfriend and I had one of those huge talks where crying is involved and it ends with "if things don't change, we can't stay together". This whole situation is mostly my fault. I admit to that and feel terrible about it. But, our talk did end on a good note, and I feel better about us than I have in years, so my question to you gentleman is this; what would be the best thing your lady or a lady could do to you after a shitty couple months? Nothing sexual please, I have that covered. So far I have: a bottle of jameson a joint a deserted horse riding park a blanket the entire night help a bitch out.
  14. for me it is. i blamed myself for it, but there were unforeseen circumstances which caused us to be late. and it blew.
  15. Obviously you were more than 15 minutes late, then, since you missed half of the record plus the opening band plus the set change in between. I have no sympathy for people who buy tickets to shows with the start time printed right on them and then show up 1-2 hours late, wondering why they missed so much of the show. wow. that isn't why we were late. it was my boyfriend's birthday and he was driving in from Detroit, and wasn't able to get there any earlier. That is why we were late Mr High and Mighty.
  16. i got too caught up in the story about living near the Cell that i must have missed it....my bad! haha, no worries. I just wanted you to know that I too, like A League of Their Own.
  17. is that what that is? I keep seeing it on Netflix, but I guess I wasn't curious enough to read the synopsis. Maybe I will now.
  18. True, but you don't have to be edge to do that.
  19. dude, it was the opener to my post! I gotta represent my bitches.
  20. I don't bitch about it being ghetto since a bunch of my friends live around there. I just pee in alleys after games. It could be worse, you could live by Wrigley. And all you dorks forgot Fever Pitch. I also pee in alleys. I would never live in Wrigleyville. That day will never, ever come. I own Fever Pitch and get ridiculed about it. Absolutely ridiculed.
  21. What albums do you consider good and when did he become bad? Personally, I loved Bright Eyes all the way through I'm Wide Awake it's Morning, and most of Digital Ash, after that I just felt it became something pretty generic and even boring . I've tried liking the newer ones, but I just can't, I even went to a show on the Cassadaga tour, to try to get myself back into it, but it was a sad attempt. It's pretty upsetting because I was a total girl about Bright Eyes for a huge part of my life.
  22. I saw them in Chicago, and it was bull shit because we were there only like 15 minutes late and we missed 6 songs. I fucking missed Table for Glasses I'll never forgive myself for being late.
