Yep, apparently they had them on the 2nd night of the Detroit show. Kinda sucks for me, they also played Jaws Theme, one of my favorite songs, which they didn't do on Thursday night. They had around 10 copies. Oh well I guess.

Damn, how is the YFW Promo DVD? Is it worth tracking down? Brand New (and mainly Jesse) seems really mysterious, I'd love to see some behind the scenes stuff. Maybe some time down the road they'll release/make a DVD.

Mind giving in explanation of what all that is? It's an impressive collection, I have no idea what the bottom half of stuff comes from. PS - You keep your CDs sealed?!

I just got back from the first night of their tour and.... NO copies of Deja Entendu vinyl. It could be the fact that maybe they are still waiting for the shipment of them to come in or something. I did pick up MewithoutYou's new CD on vinyl though! Also, I missed out on the limitied poster by literally 10 seconds. The lady was going to grab one for me and then another merch person grabbed the last one. If anyone is able to get one for me (maybe someone is going to the show with a friend that doesn't want it?) I'd gladly pay like $20 or something for it.

I'm totally fine with people buying 2, 1 to flip/sell to feed their habit. As someone who is just getting into collecting wax, I'm a poor college student. If I can keep buying records by buying 1 extra and selling it down the road that's what I'll do.

Call me crazy but I actually wish Vinyl Collective didn't release 4 different colors and such. Like many others, I have the "completist" mentality and feel the need to get every print/repent/variant available. The only thing I worry about is the fact that I may move onto my next "collecting" hobby sooner or later, and right now my shed is alreadyfull of action figures, comics, CDs, DVDs, and video games, many which I can't get rid of (No one wants CDs!)

It has little to nothing to do with management. Obviously it has to do with the label in question. But I think it's safe to assume Equal Vision (regarding Circa) would be cool about it? Really I have no idea what relationships Virgil has with certain record labels.

So.... we should have Virgil get in talks with Brand New's manager or wahtever about creating a "Devil and God..." wax. I know they did the last run by themselves possibly? Even if Vinyl Collectives doesn't get it (which I wouldn't mind) maybe he'll coax them into finally releasing it on wax. Hell, the same applies to Circa Survive. They did the last album themselves, I'd love for them to finally release "On Letting Go" on wax.

I may hold off onto this for the time being. I've spent almost $100 on vinyl this week! And this is my first week collecting!

This may be a matter of people's opinions, but I was just curious as to what you think sounds the best on vinyl in terms of bands or genre? Currently I'm unable to play any of my LPs because I'm saving up for a Turntable (Technics SL-1210MKII) but I can't wait to jam out with my collection. So, what bands or genres think sound the best on Vinyl?

^^Thats alot dude. The Fillmore in detroit only has space for 700 on the Main Floor. Maybe that's why they're playing 2 nights?

I'll echo this statement. Even though I enjoy Highly Refined, I Beer Comercials is what got to me into Minus the Bear and it is probably my favorite.

I'll see what I can do guys, no promises though. Hopefully if they do in fact have some I can buy them at the beginning of the show and have them hold them until the end.

How fast do pictures get taken? Can we expect pics on October 30th or maybe a day or 2 after? I really wanna see what they each look like before I order. All of the colors sound really cooool.

Like I said, when I actually get my copies in my hands I'll decide one what I'm gonna do with them. Also, regarding if Brand New actually has some at the shows, if they do I'll spend ALL the money I bring on copies and just sell them for cost + $5 or something. Fact of the matter is if I do decide to sell my extras all the money will go back into Vinyl Collective anyways. Theres SO much stuff I want, Bear vs. Shark, Minus the Bear - PLanet of Ice ORIGINAL print, Every Time I Die COLORED, Cursive, Blood Brothers, MewithoutYou, and tons others.

I'm going to the opening night of their tour tomorrow, if they happen to have some I will GLADLY pick up a ton for all you guys. I doubt they will though. They do have a limited poster of 15 per show though I guess, I doubt I'll be able to snag one though.

I'd probably be interested in the 1st Printing Picture Disc and the 1653, but I'd understand if you expect a ton of money for them.

That's awesome! I wonder what colored version they have for "Right Now..", seeing as how they are offering it the cheapest anywhere online. So far I've read about the: green/clear brown/white white/black are there any others?

^^Really? When I bought my Murder by Death one it was at the very end and then I talked to the singer for an hour or so and he told me the story of the foldout LP.

Sadly no, I only 1 LP and I'm looking to buy. It sucks, I know. :'(
