i got refunded from a paypal claim $50 ish for CDs i bought. i still want the CDs. i would resend the money if he will send them.

yeh but the cards/sticker packages are saying limited to 100 and i doubt the vinyl in those is different.

so the vinyl only says limited to 200 but does that mean they are just selling 200 preorders or that it is /200 vinyl? i'd assume 200 preorders...

plenty of cases with them where people get cds when they order vinyl and vinyl when they order cds. just a heads up.

guys from dead format posted on his label's facebook page - http://www.facebook.com/pages/Modern-Day-Future-Records/203127806439998 - and the posts have MYSTERIOUSLY disappeared. also talk on DF that he was telling some people he was busy opening a bar as an excuse. just to keep everyone updated. like i said, i already got my money back. so i'm not as pissed now. but i still really want the stuff i bought as i'd been looking for most of it for a long time. told him i'd resend the money if i get the stuff and still will do that.

i'm never at the computer when these happen. but i need a certain one of these tests badly. anyone can pm me if you wanna try to get it for me if you can catch the deal one day and we can work out cash or trade or something.

a few things i can add at this point... it's been like a month and a half since i sent payment for CDs. a bunch of people sent money for CDs in the sale i did and others bought/traded records. so it isn't just an isolated incident. i did get my money back from paypal the other day. i then emailed the seller and told him i will resend the money if i get the CDs. he did not email back nor did he ever reply to any messages on here. i still want my stuff. communication is huge.

what color did they send?

i have no idea for sure (yet to pick one up) but mike's response was - "We didn't even count. Just count this pressing as random colored and don't try to get all colors because it is impossible. probably at least 10 variants."

My issue with lazylab/Loren is that she bids on EVERY record by certain artists. So, I either end up paying way more than I would have if I do win or else I just lose the auction. Then, if I lose, I see her flipping them within a few weeks at insane prices so of course I'm still not gonna get the records. Regardless, she's jacking the price up for me while not even wanting to truly have the records.

no clue about the "gold". i thought i saw one that looked gold in color on ebay or somewhere at one time. and i know a guy online has one on his list as 2nd press gold. i felt the same way about the randoms. i emailed mike to try to get one of each and he said for knife man he'd just buy one and call it assorted colors /500. there are apparently ten ish different variants at least and they don't even know how many were on each or what the variants would be now. mike posted on facebook a bit back asking for help with pressing info. asian man has some up now including a couple ajj but not everything.

i'll hit you up first if i decide to get rid of anything. the plan right now is to just hold onto most if not all of what i have as i'm not desperate for cash at the moment.

haha same here. i was in contact with him the other day but only asked about the current pressings. can't maintain is one of the ones currently on a random colors pressing of 500. so for all we know there are like a couple hundred black. i had heard the black was out of like a handful or even ten but who knows. i've also heard about and maybe seen a gold variant if i remember right. it's getting too crazy with their variants so i'm at a standstill now as far as picking up every single fairly common one.

there's also a black of this. not sure on the pressing info on it. i'm kinda giving up on my ajj collection at least 12" wise because the most recent pressings are going "random colors /500".

i figure he will read all this. so like others have said, this is forgivable and we just want our stuff we bought. the way i see it there are two options. 1) let all the claims get filed and whatnot and lose them. he loses all the money and is seen as a dick here forever. but he does not have to send anything out. granted he seemingly wanted to get rid of this stuff anyways... 2) post and let us know what is up. ship everything out. let the claims fall through. have a chance at being cool with people here again.

nope from elsewhere online. but i figure that proves that this dude could have actually sent them and the mail is just taking forever during this season, though i'm doubting that right now. and yuppppppph :/
