  2. I hope all you dickbags that admonished the rest of us for laughing at the first video can now understand and agree that the first video was fucking hilarious.

  4. From ?uestlove's Twitter = NBC's "Black History Month" menu. Wow.
  5. networking networking networking! so your monthly mortgage payment is less than your monthly rent payment you were making??? how many year mortgage did you get? It's a 30-year mortgage. And the payment is less than our rent was in CA before we moved (we've been living in my parents' basement for free since we moved to CO in June).
  6. I think $200MM is fair if the contract is front-loaded (not sure if it is). He's still a catcher, so his value on the front-end will be really high. My guess is they'll shift him to 1B at some point to save his legs and prolong his career, at which point his overall value dips slightly (on the defensive end). But, yeah, he'd definitely get more in a large market.
  7. Fixed the quantity. Not sure why I put /500. Anyway, feel free to barter. I'll include some other random AFI related stuff too.
  8. Anyone interested? It's still sealed in the original shrink wrap. Here are the details: - AFI's first 5 LPs with exclusive negative imagery sleeves and pressed on grey vinyl (/920) - 28-page high-gloss booklet featuring writings about the band and color photos - Exclusive AFI medallion Everything's packaged in a sturdy velvet box. I'm looking for something in the neighborhood of $185 ppd.
  9. I know someone in that field in Denver (Lakewood, technically). I'm happy to ask around for you if you're interested. Yeah, that'd be awesome. Lakewood's real close. Much appreciated.
  10. Oh, and the loft = the office = where all my records and shit are going to go. As for employment, I'm in marketing/advertising (when I have a job). Unemployed now and still looking. Hopefully something hits soon.
  11. Just turned 28. We got it for $318,500.
  12. Not so fast on that Mauer deal = http://bases.nbcsports.com/2010/02/joe-mauer-and-twins-still-talking-despite-yestewrreport-of-done-deal.html.php

  14. holy shit, where do you live again??? Just moved to the Denver-area last June.
  15. Love this urban legend so much: "It was late one night, a few years ago, when a young man was walking through Union Square Park. He suddenly felt someone behind him, their hands over his eyes. When he turned in surprise, there was Bill Murray, his creased face leaning in close. Bill whispered, 'No one is ever going to believe you,' and then just walked away."
  16. It gets better. Especially the main story missions; the side missions are tedious and repetitive. Driving blows. Just get where you need to go and fight shit on foot. It's better XP that way too. And manually save whenever you do something important or do a bunch of little things in a row. The auto-save feature blows and wastes a lot of your time if you end up dying.
  17. Hahaha! Luckily we put 20% down and can afford our mortgage payment (which is cheaper than our rent in CA), so we should be fine.
  18. It's around 2,500 sq. ft. (3 bdrm, a loft, an office, 2.5 bath) spread over two stories with a big goddamn yard (too big really... gonna suck to maintain, but my daughter will dig it when she's older). Lots of upgrades too (hardwood floors, granite counter tops, etc.). I feel you on the price thing -- shit's been so much more affordable since we moved out of California.
  19. Bought Mass Effect 2 last night. It's different than ME1 so far, but I think it'll be for the best once I get used to the new controls.
  20. It's only 3 years old, but the seller threw in a one-year warranty, so we're covered for at least a little bit.
