  1. I love this album. Yes, one listen through, and I'm that sure of it...
  2. Downloading now... if it's the right link, and it's a real copy, I can PM whoever the link.
  3. @ Kirby - I'm checking it out now, and I'm bookmarking it! I'll be checking that all the time, because I hate having to go to bands' MySpace's and checking out their tour dates. @ Paul - When is the Chronic not appropriate to listen to? I mean, sure, it's especially good in the Summer, but there's nothing like sitting under the Christmas tree listening to "Rat-Tat-Tat-Tat" with grandma & grandpa! @ kaneelkip - I just downloaded that album a few days ago, and it's amazing!
  4. Well, the album cover alone makes it look pretty promising. Just from listening to the samples of the songs, it sounds like a pretty insane album.
  5. Sorry, by Merge I meant Spoon's and She & Him's label. The new spoon album is great though, you should be into it given some of what you've listed so far. Ohhh, yeah, that makes way more sense.
  6. I have the new She & Him downloaded already, and I couldn't find anything by Merge on there. I'll check out the new Spoon album, though. Thanks. I found some Red Sparrows stuff, and it sounds pretty decent, but instrumental isn't really something I get too into. I'm a sucker for lyrics. Thanks, though!
  7. The new Riot Before album is on there, so I'm getting that now. 34 tracks left.
  8. Yeah... totally meant to include that in first post, but got distracted, then submitted the thread. Currently, I'm mostly listening to Gaslight, Riot Before, Childish Gambino, Mos Def, Hayes Carll, Tallest Man On Earth, Leatherface... etc. I listen to pretty much everything from punk to folk to jazz. The only music I can't really get into is hardcore and death metal.
  9. I just recently bought a new digital camera, and I got a thing from Emusic.com with it that ended up giving me 50 free downloads. So far, the only thing I've gotten is Lizzie Huffman's album... and I have 44 tracks left. So, what should I get???
  10. I'll see it just because of all the Daily Show cameos. And, Ron Livingston.
  11. Seeing Thrice and Manchester Orchestra in Columbus on the 22nd! Pretty stoked. Anyone know what kind of vinyl these bands have available on tour?
  12. I'm also considering this my birthday present... and that means you gave me the best birthday gift this year! Amazing post!!! I'm so stoked to have the Trusty Chords & Call It Off covers!
  13. The Forecast http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x0eRH2c-uKw&hl=en&fs=1
  14. I bought a pair of Lucky's jeans at a discount store a couple years back, not knowing that they were some kind of top-line jeans. It wasn't until I said something about paying $7 for jeans, and mentioned the name that my friend, who is into all that shit, freaked out that I found a pair that cheap. They were the best jeans I've ever owned, though.
  15. Went to a party tonight, and was the only single person there. 13 couples (but who's counting?) and me. So, now I'm home, and watching 'Dexter'... I'd like to think I won. Right?
  16. A couple guys at the gym were having this argument the other night, and I have no idea what the difference is. So... what are they? What makes a Zune better than an iPod?
  17. 1. Childish Gambino - I Can Hear Your Feet (Sunrise) 2. Tim Barry - Moving On Blue 3. Against Me! - From Her Lips To God's Ears (The Energizer) 4. The Gaslight Anthem - 1930 5. Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers - American Girl 6. Against Me! - Walking Is Still Honest 7. Chuck Ragan - The Trench 8. Two Cow Garage - Great Gravitron Massacre 9. Childish Gambino - New Prince (Crown On The Ground) 10. Bruce Springsteen - Thunder Road 11. Two Cow Garage - The Heart and the Crown 12. Against Me! - Up The Cuts 13. Against Me! - T.S.R. 14. Drive By Truckers - Gravity's Gone 15. The Bouncing Souls - I Think That The World... 16. Lucero - What Are You Willing To Lose?
  18. I know I've already told you this on Twitter, but I fucking love this design!
  19. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jBQlffw-3Ck&hl=en&fs=1 This is also the show that the X-Men Arcade game was based off, I think... I'm probably wrong about that, though.
  20. All I can really do is echo what everyone else has said. I was a huge G.I. Joe and He-Man fan... loved the X-Men animated series, and watched all the Saturday morning & USA Cartoon Express cartoons religiously. Anyone remember "Pryde of the X-Men"? It was a very short lived X-Men cartoon that came on in '89, and it was pretty awesome, but so weird. Wolverine was Australian for some reason.
