Couldn't really get into there last record, but I really like the new song. I'll be picking this up along with the new handguns and forever came calling when I have the cash.

Yeah, the purple looks a little more red in the pictures, but it's actually a little more pinkish-purpleish in real life. I had trouble getting it to look like it actually does. With that said, yeah, I expected it to be more of a deeper purple since we chose the deepest purple they offered. But I guess the guy mixing things didn't do it all that well. It still looks sick though, I think you'll be happy with it.

I think if it's your favorite record of all time it's cool to own every variant. Not for any other reason than to support a band/release that you love. And that sand from what I've learned comes into play with haze records. They have to grind the vinyl into dust. The plant even explained this to me before ordering and said that they would need to be dusted the first time to play correctly.

I don't really have a preference, they generally sound the same to me and I have a decent Stanton player. There are always going to be audiophiles out there though, that sort of thing always happens. Like how some people swear they can tell the difference between a 320 and FLAC rip. That being said, I enjoy art so I tend to prefer records with color and styles that fit the album art. But if I pick up a copy of a record I want at a physical retailer I ne'er care if I get black because the main reason I'm buying it is because I enjoy the album and want to support the band/label. Buying any copy of a record you love should always be the main reason to buy one though. It's the flippers that bother me the most. I don't know that just always seemed scummy to me. To just buy something for the sole purpose to re-sell it when it sells out.

Yeah I know there isn't an actual tent city, fl. But they have been peoples houses in the past where large amounts of campers have stayed. Not sure if it's the same guys you're talking about but might be.

You can camp there. There's this thing called tent city and everything. Check out the fest boards for more info. Or watch that fest documentary thing they show it on there too. I think it's called Fested.

Hey man, I just recently started a label and am from PA as well. Our first release was from Richmond VA's BOXER. We released their debut EP on a single-sided 12" out of 250. They are a melodic hardcore/pop punk band (in vein of Title Fight, Turnover, B&C), so they are a little different form the genre you're releasing but I'm a fan of Ska and liked what I heard. I feel like we're kind of on the same page. PM so we can talk sometime. Money was tight for us too. We also signed a relatively unknown artist and did all the PR for the release ourself. If there's anything I could help out with let me know. I'm still learning a lot of things and I know how stressful and overwhelming it can all be at first, but I've learned a few things through the experience. Our release just came in last week but we did a pre-order a little while back and had a decent turnout from it.
