  1. me too. that is, until i just saw that people will pay $70 for it...haha.
  2. i may be. what's the (probably ridiculous) cost on mocha wednesday this year?
  3. alright, last time i post about this one, but i'm stoked on how it turned out. we did 120 bottles and put em out saturday, and i believe it's mostly gone if not completely. But if any of y'all are down here in NC, Beer Study in chapel hill got all the bottles.
  4. word. well find me a blue bbls and maybe something else, and i've got a king henry for ya, in case you're looking for that pre bourbon county barleywine stuff
  5. Can't help on the heartbreaker sadly, but I'm looking for 1984. I've got an extra Vampires and Do You Laugh When You Lie. Interested in any of those?
  6. any chance you have a bottle of Blue BBLs or coconut Mash? Mash is awesome, and the other one sounds pretty great too.
  7. SO, I know I've been blowing this thread up with mention of that Whiskeytown beer I made, but we finally posted the labels of the first bottling, (/150 bottles). I'm stoked for it. They just need to be numbered and waxed, then they're going on the shelves. Check it out!: https://www.facebook.com/StarpointBrewing, and like Starpoint while you're at it
  8. those guys make a lot of good beer, and i'm happy a fair amount of them are Office Space related
  9. Trophy is super good in Raleigh, and some of the best pizza around. Other breweries I would consider would be Raleigh Brewing Crank Arm Brewing Lynnwood Brewing Concern In Durham there's Fullsteam, which is alright, but their space is great, and their graphic design is killer. They sell bombers as well. Carrboro has a rad brewery called Steel String, and those guys/their beer is great. Haw River Farmhouse Ales is one of the other more exciting breweries down here (that just opened last month), and is about 40 mins from raleigh, but the beer is amazing, and the town it's in is super cool, in a quaint/kitschy way. If you're looking for a killer bottle shop in Raleigh, hit up Tasty Beverage Co. They'll definitely have plenty for ya to check out and take home. Two of my other spots are: Sam's Quik Shop in Durham Beer Study in Chapel Hill Both are dope, and realisitically, if you go to either, there's a pretty good chance you'll see me haha. If you're here after Christmas, a beer i made at Starpoint might be out and on the shelves too, but only at Beer Study.
  10. I've actually made a bunch of stuff out of the Thug Kitchen cookbook (and off of their blog), and it's been across the board pretty awesome. Check em out if you don't read their stuff already: http://www.thugkitchen.com/
  11. haha nice. And yeah that's a pretty solid book for sure. Another amazing, recently-published read is "American Sour Beers" by the Mad Fermentationist, Michael Tonsmeire (www.themadfermentationist.com). It's insanely informational even if you aren't interested in messing around with sour or brett beers. I think i've burned through it 2 or 3 times by now haha.
  12. Vermont Fedex It's also brewed with/for our buddies who own Beer Study, so they'll be the only shop who has bottles. Think it's gonna be ~200 bottles, the rest draft.
  13. Thanks! Glad to hear ya liked em! Thanks man! Actually, I'm pretty pumped, I made an Imperial Coffee Milk Stout that has been aging away in bourbon barrels for awhile, but couldn't come up with a name. Through a chain of people, the actual Ryan Adams (haha) said it sounded awesome, so we're gonna call it Whiskeytown. Apparently he even wants a bottle. Score! Now we just gotta get the label done and wax dip it, but the bottles should be on shelves in Mid/Late December.
  14. *Shameless Self Promotion Ahead* A friend and I scored 2nd place last weekend at the BrewDurham homebrew fest. Apparently people like imperial white IPAs and Mexican Chocolate stouts, who knew
  15. done. Also it looks like you know my friend Anna Marie. neat.
  16. Already discussed in the so called "official ty segall" topic guys. And yeah i m a bit disapointed about the tracklist too.
