On that note... Stay Ahead of the Weather > IIOI, too.

Lucky.. Still waiting for mine. Said they're shipping them by last name, reverse alphabetical order..
My last name is a D.
It's first name.

This album is phenomenal! I can't wait for it to arrive
-
I still haven't bought the 7" but this band rules on every level and I can't wait to hear this.
-
Come get a free Deer Widow 10" from the Save Your Generation table if you're here

That's a pretty honest question to ask you since bands/labels do this all the time and it's incredibly common.Did you? No label/band that plans to have a CD/vinyl release put them out on separate dates. Sure, sometimes records are pressed afterwards because a vinyl release was decided on after a CD release date. But Bar None knows they're putting out a CD release and a vinyl release. So to not plan on having them released on the same date is bizarre.
Shit, major labels do it the most.

You can get a black copy from Relapse. It has the same songs on it.
Yeah but he doesn't want a black copy, he wants a tri-color one. I thought that was pretty obvious.

Phoenix is the best band on the line-up.

I have yet to see this movie. Is it any good? It must be from all the hype and the incessant amount of talking about it from people all over. Not to mention this thread and the fervor over the soundtrack.
And yeah, mad LULZ at that price from SSD. I like how they seem to "justify" it by saying it's an import. Is it an import?
I thought Tangled was better.

Who has played the after shows the past few years?
Last year there were two. Andrew WK played at Sigma Phi in Ann Arbor, and Old Gray and some others played a house in Pinckney.
-
Ugh, an interview? Why is that necessary?
-
Heads up parking blows around there during the festival.
Curious about this because last year my friends and I had no issue parking on the street for free like two blocks away all three days. Seemed like everyone else had an easy time parking too.

Wait, so if Ross halted the Copeland stuff after them telling him they wanted to do it themselves, why is Marsh so butthurt?
Also, who does he think he is saying Ross doesn't know anything about record contracts? What a dick.

I'm sure there will be some sort of after show. Probably at a house.
-
This. It seems like every other release Ross puts out has this issue.
Apparently ETR has only put out 3 releases.
-
morally right
Okay this is just silly.

Where has Brand New said anything about anything? I hate to talk about Brand New anymore but that band demands to be heavily involved with the aesthetics of everything they have to put their name on. That's why the AFS press kept getting delayed and why Déjà hasn't been rereleased yet. While I'm making an assumption, I'm sure the band was not happy about that release for obvious reasons.I feel like this is an exercise in missing the point. But I'll play, because why not?
Where did Brand New say they were not for the MOV pressing? Where did Brand New say they planned on releasing TDAG sometime down the line?
But back to the point. Are you guys okay with labels pressing bands records to vinyl without their okay? Especially when the records haven't even been pressed yet? Even in this situation - where he talked to a manager and a bass player (?), but not the guy who wrote the songs and seems to have the most creative input? If the answer is yes, then we just disagree. That's cool.
And to answer your second question, I honestly don't care. Cool.

You think anyone in NFG is following AP.net that closely?

It might be long but there's no way any show is beating his Bonnaroo set anytime soon!
Just kidding, fucking Blue Orchid man. If he plays that at either Detroit show next week I'll lose my mind!
