Super expensive record isn't priced that much higher than other super expensive record, so it's okay.

I once heard something about The Weekend Before Halloween being on a split Halloween 7" but that obviously never happened. I think Gloom should have just been on the album. That said, they should definitely be put on a 7" since they are such awesome songs. Gloom especially.

I think all of the heavier songs on the album are better than any of the songs on Wildlife. Every song is great though. After these few days I like it more than Wildlife.

The band is selling this at their merch table now. He plays guitar/sings in Hampshire. Funny story: Tymm was actually the drummer for Hampshire for awhile before Gospel came out.

It's not like the lyrics are available right on their website or anything.

So I just got the deluxe and everything about it is awesome. The pages are really wavy though. I've been wondering if that's just a normal side effect of how this is put together, or is that unusual? Is anyone else's like that?

Amps: I would recommend an Orange Tiny Terror or similar lunch box head. Pair that with a cheap 1x12 and it would be perfect for apartment playing/bringing over to friends. You could easily put this together for <$500 with some eBaying. Hit up somewhere and do some demoing though. I just love my rig (tiny terror x orange 2x12) and have to recommend it.

Seriously. Cake is the first band I ever loved. They might have even been the only music I listened to until 2003. I must have this boxset.

Every release should be a 6x12" boxset. If it's a punk album I'll settle for a 6x7" box.

Yeah but if there is a crummy master that isn't gonna change anything. Length isn't always the problem.
