Got The Last Guardian in today, guess the people complaining about the pressing quality weren't exaggerating, this thing is really bad (you might have to turn the volume up, depending on what you're listening on).
I cannot understand how something like this is even possible, do they really not check the tests before greenlighting the pressing? Definitely asking for my money back.
I had the same issue with Westworld's B&N preorder.
It came in with a shit ton of scratches, surface noise, pops, etc. over the 3xLP's.
I returned it to Barnes and Noble and picked up another copy at an actual Barnes and Noble location, same thing.
Instead of returning that one which I should have, I reached out to Water Tower Music and they shipped me a new copy.
I have only listened to the first LP since I got it a couple of days ago. It has no scratches and minimal surface noise.
They said they would test the copy they're sending me. I assume they did since it was open and had your usual shelf wear, nothing too bad. I wonder if they other variants have the same issue.
Anywho, definitely get your money back if you can.
With a lot of these kinds of companies, you often find bootlegesque type of releases, it's quite sad. -
I'm not a supporter of Trump but the one thing I do like about him is that he bathes in liberal tears.

Did just give your new song a little bit of a listen. It's not really the sort of thing I'm into anymore, but if this were 10 years ago I'd probably have loved it.
Thanks.

I am opening up a brick and mortar store in NYC that will be specializing in collectable, rare and out of print indie / punk / emo / etc..
we're not opening for two months but I am currently looking for collections or valuable rare independent records.
the store will be different from other stores in the fact that everything we will carry will be out of print.
we will carry test pressings, one of kind items, along with some inexpensive out of print records ..
please contact here . thanks.
Kristian
That sounds like a phenomenal idea. I sometimes want to find rare and cool stuff at b&m's but it just doesn't happen. Good luck! I'll have to fly over from Miami and check it out one day.

As Daylight Dies was $70, now it's $125.
Good luck! -
Upon revisiting the song a bunch of times, I can say that I'm a fan now.
At first I wasn't a fan but it was because I was expecting something more along the lines of Ignorance. -

Hi all,
Having not bought a new record in a while, and looking to move on to collecting other things, I have decided to sell off my vinyl record collection. Lots of emo, screamo, pop punk, alt rock stuff. This is a list of everything I have, with notes about records I want to hold onto - but I'm willing to let go of most!
A few things:
- Most of these records were never played, fortunately or unfortunately
- If you need pictures of the sleeves or records, happy to oblige, just ask!
- There are a few records for which their pressing is unknown for the moment (due to ambiguous descriptions online, very similar pressings, etc.) - I can always look into those further if there is something you're interested in
- Prices are in US dollars to keep things simple; Paypal or Interac e-transfer are good
- Shipping not included, and they would be shipping from Montreal, Canada. Will always do my best to keep shipping costs down
Have at it! Hope I can give these records a good home.
I see 3 records that are on my wishlist but are WAAAAAY out of my price range,
good luck! -

But could it get me OK Computer on blue vinyl?
I see what you did there.

Not sure if there is a thread for this already. If there is; my apologies.
Any football fans here that would be down for a VC Fantasy Football league?
Go Dolphins!

See... normally, I'd find a ridiculous cat gif and post it here, but I've been drinking.
Do me a solid and Google "incredulous cat.*
Click "I'm feeling lucky" and think about it.
WTF did I just watch.

Haha ok. I guess I read your post wrong that brought up chef boyardee to not compare it to space jam.
"Yeah, watching Space Jam might be bad now if you were 7 or 8 back then but
I remember liking Chef Boyardee too, lol."It was in reference to everyone saying they don't like it anymore as an adult.
That has no influence on whether Id buy the vinyl or not, catch my drift? It's pretty obvious this is a nostalgic purchase for everyone. I havent even watched Space Jam as an adult so I cant say anything other tha. that I loved Space jam but hate Chef Boyardee. It makes sense why I confused everyone. Hahahha

I never compared them, lol.

If they're listening to Creed, Nickelback and Mudvayne in 2017 I don't think you need to worry about them procreating.
Mudvayne was a great band, I don't find them to be cringy like everyone else does but then again when I was 10 and began going to a private music school I started listening to a lot of Tool, Mudvayne, Dave Matthews and Creed (Mark Tremonti is a great guitarist regardless that everyone hates Scott and his vocals) before that I was listening to mainly pop and rap so that was my transition at a young age.
EDIT: I think people will talk about Mudvayne a bit more since they have released 2 albums on vinyl this year.

You won't go buy Chef Boyardee now though. That's the point.
Yeah I know, but eating food and collecting vinyl dont work the same way.

No, no, and no.
All three of those bands legitimately sick, and people who still listen to them should be sterilized.
LOL!

I loved Space Jam when I was like 8 or whatever. Loved the soundtrack too. As an adult I can say for certain that the movie fucking sucked and has no redeeming qualities. Not even the weird Bill Murray cameo.
This release isn't for record collectors. It's for people who share "only true 90s kids..." memes on facebook and buy those shitty tv soundtracks that Enjoy the Ride puts out.
Making fun of Space Jam is like making fun of Creed, Nickelback, Mudvayne and some other bands....
It's fun to talk shit but at some point we must admit they were liked by a lot of people.
Yeah, watching Space Jam might be bad now if you were 7 or 8 back then but
I remember liking Chef Boyardee too, lol. -

I have never seen space jam but I got caught up in the rsd hysteria and ordered two copies of the ost. When I get them I will gladly let one go for cost.
Thanks!

I love how OP has yet to reply to his own topic and issue(s) once making a thread
@JorgeRodriguez689 where ya at?!
Sorry! LOL.
I have been reading the comments and enjoying the memes and comments.
To be honest I'd never pay the price they're going for, this would have been more of a nostalgic purchase.
I know it appears as whining but it's not the case.
I just thought it's crazy, I'm relatively new to vinyl.
I don't think I'd ever get a vinyl with R Kelly, so we're all on the same page on that one haha.
I do like the artwork however. I was 7 in 1996 when the movie came out and it was one of my favorite movies as a child.
