the End of Silence demo thing from a few years ago is pretty good. i don't have the regular version on LP tho.

I know its twice the price but a zerodust will last you forever! You can get one on eBay for cheaper. Otherwise they are around $60....priceless when it comes to your cart though! Its like a gel bubble that you just lower the needle on and then lift back up....others use a magic eraser but I never liked them....
Hope that helps
yes, spend the money on the oznow zerodust

Adam said that he didn't want to mess with the tracklisting for the reissue, which is why they sent the extra tracks as a download. When I first got the record I felt the same way you did, but after reading that comment it made a little more sense to me why they did it this way.
i would've liked bivouac/chesterfield king as one release
and mudhoney did same thing w/ the superfuzz/bigmuff ep. i would've really liked to have the cd tracklisting on one vinyl release.
and L7 smell the magic too...

make an offer take em away

i haven't really been counting stuff that is set in the original "turntable appropriate times"
like i just saw the frozen ground and started watching the americans. turntables/records in those too.

I don't need anything past Seasons personally...but i didn't think the later ones were bad per se...just not interesting to me...
-
i would've ordered this on red if i had known. but i preordered this thing way back when it was announced and it came black last week.
the bonus tracks are download only, in case anyone was wondering. nothing super crazy about them.
the pressing sounds fine, don't think it's any major improvement over my original. but haven't played them back-to-back.
i don't have a bivouac/chesterfield king original, but those reissues sound great. i've listened to those a ton since they came out.
-
i have a yellow original press. i never thought it sounded too great though. really needs to be a 2xLP.
it looks like 2016 will see a 25th anniversary deluxe treatment, so that will be interesting.
so the 2003 and 2007 Euro reissues are the same 320 stampers eh?
-
Damn you sir, but I was able to get a Universal "320" analog repress of BMF from Amazon a month or two ago for $15.
what's the deal w/ those?
-
Hmm.... that actually isn't a bad idea!
i know right. haha.
-
how about you skip ahead and do 99 Lives ASAP since it never got a vinyl release in 2007?
-
did anyone else order this and get it yet?
mine came today unsealed (no shrink) w/ record outside of jacket, which is fine (preferable even). but, i took it out of plain white inner sleeve (no inserts) and it had scratches and scuffs. Lame.
Sending it back.
I would guess it's another German boot too not a legit reissue.

How has nobody mentioned Seeking a Friend for the End of the World?
EDIT: Nevermid I see its listed on page 1
heh, i was going to say, i thought i did...

I don't think the best stuff is on that myspace link. I couldn't find any bandcamp or any other links.
I did like them better live than the records...thus the selling them...
