  1. It's nice to read our point of views in a civilised and not in a mean way.
  2. That's the problem though: bands and labels don't make money from flipping. It's certainly the flipper's right, and is an example of Economics 101, but it just seems a little sleazy to me that they buy something for $15, then sell it for $30 a week later. Right, but it is a shame when a legitimate fan can not get a copy at a fair price because flippers got them all in the first hour.
  3. Wow, I have to disagree with most of the people here. Arguments are very thin and often pointless. On my part, I bought doubles of many records I have. Maybe someday I will get rid of them because my originals will still be in perfect shape but will that make me a flipper for selling my backup?? I'm happy I got the record that I enjoyed listening to, the band/label is very happy to sell their records (I know, I'm in a band too) and if I ever sell one of my rare records, the person buying it should be happy and me too for getting a bit of cash that I'll probably use to buy more records. To Soysquad : To say people shouldn't buy from flippers and not get so hyped up on getting a record for a high price would not complete a collection... collectors collect to have as many as they desire and it sometime haunts their toughts day and night. Yes, we're that stupid and obsessed. One more thing, older records from 10/20/30/40 years ago are not necesseraly repressed so you have to go and shell out big bucks to listen to them. Flippers, just like labels, like the smell of money and it's one more way of getting some so don't spend if you don't want to but don't take down people who do spend their money on something they want. Beside, more money for the band/label means more music in the end. I have to go against abusing flippers who would buy 10, 20 maybe more records just to sell them back at 3 times the original price 3 weeks later (like the recent Blink 182 episode). Fat Wreck Chords now have a "1 per order" policy on their limited vinyl wich is a great thing to do. Labels should not make VERY limited runs if they do not want people taking advantage of fans/collectors or at least do like Fat Wreck and put a limit.
  4. I think it was Radio Radio Radio by Rancid and Fuck the Kids by NOFX both at the same time.
  5. They look good. I ordered earrings. There's going to be a happy girl over here in two weeks.
  6. I'd like some earings but the code is invalid.
  7. I bought 250~300 LPs of Blues and Jazz from some lady and it's not a dream to sort trough. That's too many records in a short time! Half of them are not suitable to resell and I will not keep them all because I don't like blues and jazz THAT much. I don't think that I would actually like to have too much records in my apartment either. I will try to sell some on Limited Pressing in a couple of weeks than maybe eBay.
  8. Cool seller, I got my stuff yesterday in top notch condition.
  9. An easy way to plug into your computer is to get a "Y" cable with 2 female RCA (red/white) and one 1/8" jack (same a headphone jacks). Plug your 2 red/white RCA cables into the "Y" and the 1/8" jack into your "line in" (or microphone jack if you don't have a "line in") into your computer. Check your sound control panel to make sure volumes are OK and you're set! You can now easily create MP3s from your records. You should also set your integrated PreAmp switch at ON. Hope that helps.
  10. I noticed that it has the "green" sticker on it. They must have a made a bunch of them for sure. Then again, if the guy puts it on eBay before Epitaph makes any annoncement concerning its existence, he might make this record VERY profitable. That's green gold.
  11. I am currently playing Policenauts for Playstation and Age of Empires III. Both good.
  12. I found this site while looking for a Common Rider vinyl last year.
  13. Some might be interested to know that the Super Mario Land LP is available at Discogs. There are actually 24 of them. Search for "Ambassadors of funk".
  14. I was just showing him something to look for. I thought it was cool and related so I posted. Also, I don't think anyone with a high post count is being a real prick. That was a nice suggestion. Thank you. Fortunately, I already have that record wich is not that good to listen to. Now let's keep this thread civilised please.
  15. I think he was helping you by showing you something you might be able to get for yourself since you are asking a very vague stupid question. I love how rude you are after you were the one asking for information. how about asking about where to collect specific titles and stop being rude because you can't BUYITNOWOMGLOLS. OH WAIT YOU WANT OLD VINYL THAT IS PROBABLY COLLECTIBLE BECAUSE YOU HEARD THAT ALL THE COOL KIDS BUY RECORDS NOW? WELL HERE'S A GOOD SITE: http://www.iwanttobuyreallyrarerecordsan....shit.net/v inyl Man, you are being a fucking moron here and other threads. I was not rude with anyone except you, you shithead. I am looking for video game related vinyl if anyone has one to sell.
  16. This is a year old and not available anymore.
  17. I am looking for video game related vinyl, such as Sega, Nintendo, Capcom, Super Mario, Sonic, etc... If you have any you want to let go of, I might be a taker.
