  1. http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=150467556760 NOFX - The Decline on clear. Went for $1050.
  2. I think the USPS works on saturdays but I'm in Canada so I'm not sure. Here the postal service only works on weekdays so that would cut one day of like the other guy above suggested. But I have to admit that you guys have a way cheaper cost of shipping than Canada (1 or 2 LP from Quebec to British Columbia is about 18$!). Virgil had good suggestions in his post and since they're good, they will be ignored.
  3. You can check directly on the label's website as they sometime publish this "vital" information.

  5. Wow. What a genius. I guess their sold out arena shows are filled with people who only got free promo tickets and learned all their songs while driving to the show. I know Rush is not for everyone. I saw them 2 times with friends and they did not like it. I'll be seeing them next week in Quebec city and there will be many thousands of people for this outdoor show. I guess being just behind The Beatles and Rolling Stones for consecutive gold records doesn't make them have more than 5 fans huh? I hate it when people critize a band they know nothing about. To answer the first post question, I've never seen any album for sell at the merch table, only tour books, t-shirts and memorablia stuff...
  6. The vinyl pressing of Snakes & Arrows out of 5000. I bought mine from the Rush website and it's a double 180g LP. Since it's limited it's getting harder and harder getting one for a decent price. I think I bought mine for $35 plus high shipping. I hope they'll press the next album.
  7. I like LP a lot but I wish there were more categories other than alternative/punk. Maybe more and more people would come to the site if it were that way. I'll be posting a few records there in the coming days because LP is awesome but not well known yet.
  8. I would like to see a top 100 list of how many records were actually pressed instead of sold.
  9. I remove price tags by blowing hot air from my breath for a moment and I peel them slowly while still blowing.
  10. I put them by genre or by collection. So when I'm in the mood for something, I pick the first one in that section.
  11. Once I got children drawings in a progressive record jacket. They were not very interesting and now they sit at the landfill. I also got a lot of long hairs in various records.
  12. Shrinkwrap creates glare so you can't see the cover really good when there's a light on in the room at night. Just get the cover signed without the shrinkwrap. Use a plastic sleeve you do not want it on your wall anymore. That's what I do. And to the other guy that said that it creates ringwear, how can that be when the record or the cover is not even moving for a long period of time?
  13. I only have one at the moment and I think it sounds good enough. I was surprised at first. It's so thin you can see trough it. If it is really cheap, I would press a few.
  14. I will send promos to the 2 stores who already posted their adresses here. I think its a great way to let new music be heard and I never actually tought about stores. I used to send them to radio stations only. This is a great thread.
  15. You should ship to Canada too... I can't bid.
  16. You have a sick collection man. I would love to hear all those tracks.
  17. This is a lowsy website with nothing to offer...
  18. I bump this again so you might want take avantage of this inexpensive offer.
  19. and yet you make another post spamming the boards. SHUT UP! At that point anyone selling anything is spamming then... I go on this board to find deals, news and suppliers for my vinyl addiction.
  20. Ho no! Not those two dicks again. I don't like the fact that you put that in that thread. The quality just greatly dropped.
  21. This is the deal folks! In order to expand our music to the world, we tought it would be a good idea to give a "free" package with a demo CD of Hard Genuine Live Rockers, magnet, button, stickers... you know... a bunch of stuff for basicly the shipping price ($4 for USA and Canada/$7 worldwide). We realize that shipping is different to different locations and may not be exactly the price offered but the low difference should be fair enough as we don't plan to make money out of this deal. The CD has around 35 to 40 minutes of music and features a 20 minute heavy jam and a cover song not found on the album (Blitzkrieg Bop by the Ramones) as well as hidden cover songs in the track -1. We recorded this with a vintage sound in mind and live setup to our liking so it won't sound like your overclean ProTools kind of album but more of a "Motörhead" wall of sound. You can add this deal to any other order and give it to a friend! Take avantage and spread the rock! http://wickedstar.limitedpressing.com/products/2516 About Wicked Star : We're a hard rock band based in Quebec, Canada. Our style could be somewhat similar to Black Sabbath, Clutch, Pantera, Motörhead maybe Guns N' Roses but to make it sweet we're a heavy band with a groovy groove tube touch that smells like something's burning. At this age where most of the music we get to hear sound alike and where most of the bands we get to see look like the next one we are very proud to say we're doing our own thing completely on our own without outside help or influence. Like the title of our latest album says, we are Hard Genuine Live Rockers. Got that?
