Selling this thing on ebay, but since I hate dealing with scammers/morons if anyone from here wins this I'll do free shipping in the U.S. or half-price shipping anywhere else in the world.
This thing is best for international people because of the FCC restrictions here, so if anyone wants to make a decent offer on it I'll take it off ebay and sell it to you.
Basically I hate ebay, I've already had a bunch of scam attempts, and will glady take less money to sell it to somebody who is part of a trusted community.

Seb, the guy who used to run Just Another Day Records, at one point owned three Chung Kings. Just a fun fact.
-
Some people just don't understand how a fun and honest label like No Idea works, and I'm ok with that. People like us were here before you and we'll still be here when you're gone.
-
I agree. That album came out at a weird time when labels were pumping money into scene-rock 'n roll bands like Letter Kills and it felt like everyone was chasing that sound for some reason.
I really like the album, and from what I've been told by people close to the band that sound had more to do with producer Rory Phillips and the direction the band was going in more than any label dealings. You can also kinda see the transition to Young Love's first record in there (and in my opinion that first Young Love record is damn near flawless).

Saw this earlier and instantly ordered the deluxe version, the price is fine and I have no doubt the music will be great.
-
Technically if they advertised it for that price and you buy it, by law they have to sell it to you for that price even if it was a mistake on their part. I worked at staples a long time ago and we had this happen where there was a misprint in a flyer for a 500gb hard drive for 9.99 (it was supposed to be 99.99) Everyone who came in with said flyer got one for $10. Always check the prices on the shelves at stores too, same deal if its labeled for a certain price they have to sell it to you for that.
Sorry, but this is just not true. Many stores will go ahead and sell it for the lower price to avoid a backlash, but legally they are under no obligation to just because an advertisement listed it as such.

It can sometimes help to put an approximate price you're willing to pay in the top post. I don't know if you want to do this, but it may help you find a copy. Good luck!

"Tomorrow Come Today" actually had a sticker on the back of the CD that said something to the effect of: "the views of this band do not reflect those of wind-up records or it's artists", I guess they didn't want Creed to get upset or something haha.
-
I'm surprised this band still exists. They are Christian rock now?
This was probably in reference to the record they put out on Wind-Up that was more "modern rock" leaning then their previous material. I actually think the last record they put out had some really good material on it though. I'm not sure how relevant this band is, but I'll buy it and would definitely go see them if they end up anywhere in Texas.
-
Because I can. Thanks for asking.
Ok. I'm not sure why you insist on alienating the very people you are trying to sell things to. From a business perspective this doesn't seem smart. Good luck though, ebay is full of kids with too much money who don't do their research and I'm sure you will eventually sell it.

Actually it was $40. If you selected it to buy it the price changed to $40.00.
Well I don't know about you, but I definitely bought it for $21.99 last week. I've got the receipt and the test press to prove it. I don't care about people flipping things, but don't tell a man he is wrong when he has made a correct statement.
-
I'm like 75% sure I have an opened, but never played copy of The Longest EP on black that I would do that partial trade with you for, let me double check tomorrow and I'll let you know.
-
I've never cared too much about tests, but they are fun to have if the timing and price is right.
Thursday Full - Collapse (first press)
Taking Back Sunday - Tell All Your Friends (third press)
Sacred Shock - You're Not with Us #11/18
Spazm 151 - S/T
Superchunk - Tossing Seeds
ANS/Reproach - Split #14/20
Out to Sea - The Soul of Mankind
Highlife - Drink Yourself to Freedom
Highlife - Self-Abuse

Interested.

Ya'll just need to stop buying things like Atreyu or Silverstein and get some Hatebreed in your lives.

My guess is they cut all their records from cd anyway. They're just big distorted CDs.
How often do you clean your stylus? I don't doubt that it sounds like shit, but the way you describe it, it must sound extremely shitty.
Your guess would be wrong. Victory has been putting records out since before you were born, give them a little credit.
Also keep in mind some of these records are on their 6th pressing at this point. I think the original pressings of Tell All Your Friends are mastered just slightly louder than the subsequent 2007 and on pressings but I can't really say one necessarily sounds better or worse. I've bought tons of records from victory over the years and have never had a problem with sound quality or even warping.

Got my LP bag in and I was surprised at how awesome of a selection I got:
Assholeparade - Student Ghetto Violence w/ tour cover
The Holy Mountain - There is No Exit - pic disc
Worn in Red - Banshees
Stop Breathing - S/T
Burnman - Notes for a Catalogue for an Exhibition
I've never heard Burnman or Stop Breathing before so I'm excited to check these records out. Good times courtesy of No idea!

Kind of in the same boat. If it went up with something I thought was "must own" I'd probably throw it on.
Maybe it's been speculated on, but do you think they just printed up 1 or 2 thousand of these on color? That why there is no limit? Rise Against is a pretty big band. I could see them selling a lot.
With interpunk also selling the colored version this seems like a safe bet to me. Honestly I could see them pressing even more than 2k though, this record was pretty popular even before Rise Against became modern rock darlings. I've never owned this album on vinyl before so it was an easy buy for me.
-
I almost clicked the link excitedly for a 2nd time.
I just don't see how anyone could even be excited for this. In the past three years every single one of their full lengths has had multiple pressings (with variants in the double digits on some of the records). Any sort of boxset would be stupidly expensive and just unnecessary for a still-active band like this.
-
Yeah. As much as this band said they would never do a reunion I won't believe this until THREE DAYS after they've actually played a show.

Foo Fighters TINLTL $4.50 at Amazon

Slight bummer that I missed the $4.50, but I have zero problem paying $10ppd (with amazon prime) for this joint. Not my absolute favorite Foo Fighters material, but still damn good.
