  1. From the label -

" RARE FUTURES is a groove-rock band from New York City founded in 2007 by journeyman and multi-instrumentalist, Matt Fazzi, under the original moniker Happy Body Slow Brain. RARE FUTURES tips their hat to groups like Tears For Fears, Jellyfish, Mutemath, Sade, The Spinners and Soundgarden meshing heavy prog-rock groove with 80's synthesizers, a sprinkle of R&B/soul and rich creamy layers of melody and harmony.

The band has self-released two full-length albums, This is Your Brain on Love (2016), Dreams of Water (2010) and two EPs, LIVE (2014) and SLEEPY EP (2012).

In between releases, Fazzi has written, performed, and toured in Taking Back Sunday, RX Bandits, The Dear Hunter, Atlas Genius, Gavin Castleton Band, Envy On the Coast, NK, The Movielife, Into It. Over It., Great Big Pile Of Leaves and Facing New York (founding member).

This Is Your Brain on LIVE, recorded in-studio at Rancho Recordo, is an eight-track album featuring crushing live renditions from RARE FUTURES' This is Your Brain on Love and Happy Body Slow Brain's Dreams of Water. The collection, engineered, mixed, & mastered by Marc Jacob Hudson and co-released by the band's own Cerebral Music Group and Somerville, MA based Umbrella Man Records, will bring fans of Happy Body Slow Brain into the RARE FUTURES universe."

I love bullmoose. I only use Twitter to DM the BM. I always ask if they are getting certain records. No matter if it's a day or a month later they always get back to me once they have an answer. Always helpful to place the order for me to pick up at one of their locations as well.  Hands down best customer service I've ever experienced

agreed! Nothing but positive experiences with their stores/staff

Just fucking saw this over on Hoffmann boards. Dammit! Is it sold out?

Limited to 5000 units. 500 of which will contain glow i nthe dark vinyl with blacklight poster. Non-GID copies will be black. Still limited to 1 copy per person.

I have no 0 info to back up the claim I'm about to make - but my guess is it will be in store only for Bullmoose to start (who knows for other retailers)

  4. Looks like Bullmoose (and likely other indie stores) are getting glow in the dark mixed in with the black variants. (could this be the "blue" in their latest FB post?)https://www.bullmoose.com/p/28095180/smashing-pumpkins-shiny-and-oh-so-bright-vol-1-limited-version-1-10-randomly-mixed-glow-vinyl-w-bl-poster

I'm thinking this is a standard black lp, but if it's also remastered, it kinda has to be 2LP, right? Unless they made two new sets of plates (seems unlikely).

I honestly think it will be the blue splatter one because I heard/saw various threads saying the blue one started really low in available units to buy on merchnow, and the blue clear one specifically says 1000 world wide, while the cloudy clear one does not. But that's all I'm going off of.

But to your point, the price definitely lends itself to double black LPs
