permafaust, did your purple version look like the one displayed on their website? i ask because i ordered the purple version, but what i received looks nothing like the one on the website, and yet its not really black, either. its kind of dark brownish with swirls of darker brown/dark purple? in it. hard to explain. just wondering if they all turned out like mine, or if mine is just...odd....

my local hot topic stores their vinyl records in plastic crates on the floor, which are always moved around to where they will be less likely to be kicked. naturally, they have hardly any and don't look to be receiving any more.

those postcards sound nice, too bad they weren't included with these pre-orders (or even that pin the UKers got). i did get 13 download cards in the record from my S1D copy, though (kinda weird)

yeah, i can't decide if i want to chance it or not. think i'll call a local store up and see if they are getting any and if they can hold one before i make a decision on my order.
