Anyone know of an active travel message board, particularly one that has information on working abroad? All the ones I have found are either A: not very active or B: seem to focus on short term vacation travel instead of long term backpacking/working abroad. Wow I used to think people were overreacting about this, and I think at the beginning many people were but now any and all reactions are clearly justified. Looks like this guys basically suckered people out of what looks to be close to $100,000 With that out of the way this should bring up the bigger question of how the hell do these chump "label owners" like RJ get these licenses in the first place? With these bigger releases it is basically a license to print money. I have a feeling 95% of these so called "label owners" that just reissue popular releases on vinyl are the kids of high ups in the music industry who just happen to have the connections that the rest of us don't have access to.

Yeah I think with the digital age bands are trying to get peoples money asap before the album leaks and/or is downloaded illegally. Sucks that it has to be that way but its understandable in my opinion.

I haven't been a huge fan of their last few albums, and Billy Corgan has become a total tool but i'm going to check this out anyways. I'm still holding out hope that they can produce something even close to the amazingness that is Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness

You should probably break it down a little better yourself. It is pre-AMP, not pre-receiver. You need an AMPLIFIER, which happens to be built into the speakers he is looking at.

Maybe i'm missing something here..and I am by no means a SRC supporter but what exactly is shady about them ordering 4 records from IVWT? I still think it's childish for them to ban IVWT, i'm just trying to figure out why IVWT bothered to message them in the first place instead of just sending the records.

You guys are lucky to have media mail...it costs over $10 to ship an LP to Canada...and I really feel sorry for those over seas It's not the cost that bothers me, it's the blatant overcharging that bothers me. If it really cost $5 to ship I would be fine paying that much but it doesn't, even when you add in the box/tape/bubble wrap etc
