I haven't been following Deep Discount much. Do they run sales like the July 4th ones very often? Where vinyl is around 70% off? I realize there was the issue of items getting cancelled, but still curious about the frequency of their big sales. Thanks.

UPC: 634457836112 Official email from the label today says that is the only UPC for this vinyl release. In this case, limited edition is being generically used. It is limited until they all sell out and do another pressing.

Ha... I've missed every signed copy now. However, if it's a signed art card rather than a signed record sleeve, maybe isn't that big of a deal, and will save some money then. I would've bought any signed ones if given the opportunity, though, cause I'm a big nerd fan. and yeah, I wasn't expecting this to drop for another week too.

I'm curious how they determine if the item needs to be returned or not when issuing either a refund or replacement. Depends on the price of the item? I had a record arrive damaged, and there were no more in stock to replace it, and I was asked for it to be returned for the refund.

Nevermind. I think I just may have figured it out for myself. The friend just gets a coupon code for 20% off. 20% off of $50 is $10. (which you can already get any time, so this friend referral is nothing special, from what I can see.) I was thinking it would be like a $10 credit on your account, that could then be used at checkout on top of whatever discounts you applied, but is not the case. Oh, well.

Has anybody actually used on udiscovermusic the "refer your friends" to get your friend, and yourself, $10 off orders of $50+? I sent the link to my GF, who lives at a different address. She clicked on the link in the email to "Accept Offer", and then selected an item over $50 and went to checkout, filled out her info to register, but sees no $10 discount. Has anybody had this work for them? Thanks.

Cool. Thanks for clarifying. With a google search it looks like they had a 30OFF deal a few months ago, but code no longer works. But at that time they probably didn't have 25% off markdown in addition to the 30% off. 25% off + extra 20% off now is still good.

Thanks for the tip. I'm going to give that app a try. I bought a large amount of stuff during Target's 3 for 2 deal. By the way, do you, or anyone else here, know how to get a notification for when the next time Target runs that deal? Do you just sign up for their email list where it says "Get exclusive offers and weekly ad reminders"?

Damn, I would have paid for both autographed albums. Both sold out by the time I saw them on sale. Is there any advanced info on when they drop, or a mailing list? I couldn't find any way to get a heads up on it. I'm also curious how fast they sold out. Within 5 mins? In 30 mins?

Same here. I submitted for a replacement. We'll see what happens the second time around. I've got a bit over 30 records on their way from Target. Hopefully I don't have to return too many of them. I guess you get what you pay for.

Heads up on the Target purchases... I received a record from Target today in a smashed up box with no protective bubble wrap or air cushions inside, or cardboard around it. Just the record by itself in a big box with no protection. The record inside the box also arrived opened on the side (seal completely broken). The record sleeve also arrived bent up with multiple bad creases. Bummer.

Thank for the heads up. I too bought too much, but couldn't pass on that deal. It was a lot of work organizing a list with prices, and grouping the items the best way for the best deals, but worked it out well. Does anyone know approximately how often they run this sale? I saw a post on discogs that mentioned Target did a buy 2 get 1 free in November 2019 too.

Ok. Good to know. I'll have to keep an eye out for next time, for signed releases. I just saw that the non-signed ones didn't ship outside the mentioned countries.

I'm going to be on the lookout for any indie exclusives, or any other colored vinyl exclusives. A friend who works in music distribution doesn't have official info, but anticipates there being some. Hopefully info will be posted here if any Dry exclusives come out.

I don't think the signed ones were available for shipping to the USA. "This product will be dispatched in line with the release date of 24th July 2020. Please note: we can only accept orders for this product from UK, Mainland EU, Greenland, Australia and Japan. To order from outside these territories please check local retailers."

Correct. Their pressing of it is exclusive. Other pressings will be out, including an "Indie Exclusive".

With it not being colored vinyl, I'm not sure how different the VMP "variant" will be different from the future release. My Sony rep mentioned that it's getting distributed elsewhere soon. I think he mentioned an "Indie Exclusive" version.
